Quiet little spot

We enjoyed our stay and it was quiet while we there. View was nice and we were able to see the fishing boats leave early in the morning. Weather was perfect. If I had to mention any negative, I would say the area outside for sitting and grilling could have been better maintained. Pine straw/leaves/trash/broken bricks made that area unappealing. Fans in the room were caked with dust and the shower head needed to be cleaned.

This is a great getaway spot if you’re looking for a lovely view, a quiet retreat, or a chance to fish in peace. The owners are nearby and helpful without being intrusive. The location is rustic, but comfortable.

Cute Place with a Great View!

We decided to stay here one night before our family came down and joined us for our yearly trip. It was so peaceful and nice to have some alone time! A very stylish and clean interior with everything we needed. The view off the dock is beautiful. The hosts were both very friendly!

Friendly Hosts and Small Town Charm

We had a great visit. Their guest addition is a great place to spend a few days. The unit is outfitted with everything you would need and includes some extras like coffee, some baked goods, and board games that are a fantastic touch. The pool is larger than the pictures make it seem and the kids had a blast splashing in it to beat the heat. The dock is a great place to fish and you can catch as many small croakers as you want. There are also plentiful blue crab to be caught if you have the right equipment. The balcony on the unit is a great place to look out over the water to see wildlife and awesome military equipment. We were lucky enough one night to see a military aircraft launching flares and it looked incredibly cool. We renting the kayak and had a great time paddling around. The water is incredibly shallow at every part we went to so you don't have to worry about your kiddos falling in... Children of any age would be able to stand up and have their head above water. North topsail beach is around a ten minute drive and is definitely worth checking out. It was never crowded when we went and the parking was free at several locations.

Great cabin highly recommended

Super property and great owners. Totally enjoyed our time there. Everything is close. Stay at this place and enjoy Riverview Cafe. We did for 4 nights. Excellent time here.

Sneads Ferry

Great place to stay for those that don't require luxurious amenities and just need the basics. Everything is within driving distance and not much of a wait for anything. Enjoyed our time and hope to do it again soon!

Very enjoyable stay

The pictures represent the property accurately. The instructions were thorough. The communication & follow-up was exceptional throughout. We only stayed one night, but the boys and I had a good time fishing, grilling, and hanging on the deck overlooking the water. The folks around the neighborhood were very friendly and there’s a neighbor next door that sells fresh seafood & even bait. I would definitely stay again in the future.

Night before our wedding

My fiancée and his groomsmen stayed here the night before our wedding. They are all big fisherman and enjoyed the dock at the house very much. One of them caught a red drum! My now husband said the owners were extremely welcoming and accommodating. I will definitely be recommending this place to our family and friends when they visit in the future!

Super stellar hosting from Stephen and family. They continuously communicated with us to ensure we were as comfortable as could be and after a long 5hr drive, checking in couldn’t have been any easier. Very friendly, good people. The location was far away enough to feel the comfort of being home, and away from the public while also only being less than 10 mins away from the beach. My family and I had a great time, we look forward to coming back! 😊 PS. For those reviews left about the bugs, the location of the home is prime - direct access to the water. Being that close to nature, will not be bug free but so worth the stay! The bugs are on the outside, the inside was kept very tidy and clean and the only bug we saw was a moth that sneaked in while the door was left open.

Wonderful Kayaking

My husband and I had a great experience. Views from room were spectacular. We carried our own kayaks and it was so nice having place to keep them. And it was nice walking out door to dock and into boats. Great places all around to kayak without having to get in car. Plan to stay again.

Everything about this stay was amazing! The host ensured we were satisfied.

The house was clean, had a loaf of fresh bread and a custom note waiting just for us! It was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back in the summer time!
