Charming beach house with a private access to the beach!
Beautiful views from the second story deck and an ocean view from the downstairs living space. Rosie's Retreat is a second row home, on the beachside of the street.
The home features 4 king bedrooms with a designated bathroom for each bedroom. Two of the bathrooms are ensuite.

I love the location of our Rosie’s Retreat! We are within walking distance of Salt Life and Sandbar restaurants located at Main Beach.
The friendly neighborhood is a mix of full-time residents and short term rentals homes.
The public pool is a short distance from our home. The Atlantic Rec pool is family friendly with a nice baby pool and a nearby playground.

The entire home is available for guests with a private patio and a private balcony. The home is located on the beachside of the street. It is a second row home with a lovely view of the ocean.

Rosie's Retreat is a comfortable home with a beachy, coastal theme. There are 4 king bedrooms. Each bedroom has a separate designated bathroom. One of the King bedrooms is located on the first floor.
Our home is within walking distance of two delicious seafood restaurants that often feature live music: SaltLife and Sandbar. I very much enjoy sharing our home and have had the pleasure of getting to know many wonderful people over the years.

June and July are Sunday to Sunday weekly rental only.
Parking for Rosie’s Retreat is on the streetside of the home only.
There are parking spaces for up to 4 vehicles parked strategically.
Our home is smoke and vape free.
We do not allow pets.
We have a strict 8 person maximum occupancy, including children. Parties, reunions and gatherings of additional guests are not permitted.

Rosie's Retreat - A Beach Oasis

Rosie's Retreat was exactly what we wanted - a short hop to the beach, cozy and clean. Would highly recommend it. House has a great outdoor kitchen and patio and is a quick walk to great restaurants and entertainment. Highly recommend it. Very responsive host. Looking forward to returning.

Family Reunion

Wonderful, comfortable house that perfectly accommodated our multigenerational group (6 adults and one toddler). Location was great. We appreciated each bedroom having their own private bathroom, and two sets of washers & dryers. It was also very handy that a high chair and pack n play were provided as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Amy was very responsive to any inquiries both before and during our stay. We loved our stay there and hope to return one day. 5 star property.

Wonderful location and accommodations.

Loved the location- be ready to get incredible 180 degree sunrise pix- and the “beachy” decor. With 4 men in town for an event, we had everything we needed for a great weekend. One remarked he wanted to extend the stay a week to sleep in these beds. Great care by the owners to cover the little things to make our stay a pleasure, including great restaurant recommendations.

Great location for a Girls Weekend Getaway

We had an amazing stay and the property was exactly as described—very clean, well-maintained and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There were 8 of us girls and we especially liked having 4 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms. The house is on the beach so we walked along the shore & collected shells and we especially enjoyed the outside deck sitting around the fire pit. The location was close to restaurants, shopping and was a short drive to downtown Fernandina. Amy was very responsive to my messages about the property and provided helpful information about the area. We ran out of propane for the fire pit and she had her handyman bring by new tanks within an hour. She provided outstanding customer service. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Great Stay

My group and I were in town for Pledge the Pink Cancer Walk and picked this home for its convenient location. We quickly walked to Main Beach Park for the event activities. Home is a quick drive to downtown as well. Beautiful views of the beach from the back side of the house. The home is quiet, with minimal street noise. The home was clean and well stocked with all needs. While we did not do any cooking at home, it appeared that everything you would need was provided. The home is well decorated and has nice bedroom separation if you have different groups. We would rent this home again without hesitation.

Amelia Island Gem

We LOVED staying here! The beach is so close we walked there everyday at least once! Very spacious, well furnished and the outdoor spaces are great also. The upstairs deck has a great ocean view and was a favorite hangout for my grown kids. There's an outdoor kitchen on the bottom level and a fire pit that we enjoyed at night. We have rented several vacation homes but Amy is especially thoughtful in the details to make your visit memorable. We can't wait to go back!

Rosie's retreat was great. Four large bedrooms and bathrooms allows all of us to be together AND have our own space. Kitchen was well supplied. Good selection of books and games for all ages.We were only a couple minutes from the beach

Location and Details

This was my second stay at this property and it did not dissapoint. My kids loved the proximity to the beach and the games. My wife and I appreciated the closeness to downtown, restaurants, etc, as well as the supply of toiletries and coffee. Would recommend.

The Getaway House

Wonderful stay at the Getaway House. The location couldn't have been any better. Close to town and restaurants and the host was always available if we had questions. Loved every minute of our vacation! Looking forward to going back.

Wonderful Property

Everything was clean, neat and just as advertised. Amy, the hostess, was an absolute dream to communicate with. It's view of the beach was great, the closeness to restaurants was wonderful, but the fire pit stole the show! We sat by it every night!

Beach Gem!

Our group of seven was visiting the area for a College Bowl game and wanted to stay on Amelia Island. Our 4 bedroom, 4 bath accommodation was exactly as described and perfect for our group in every way. Amy our host was very attentive and checked with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. This was a five star experience for sure!
