"Our first room was very dirty and disgusting upon check in. Very obvious the room was not cleaned. We found what looked like poop on the back of the bathroom door, pubic hair on the soap dish, and a fake nail on the floor in front of the sink. I went to the front desk, and the young man working was very helpful. He moved us to another room and walked it before turning in over to us, to make sure it was clean. "The hotel appears to be severely understaffed. Calls often went unanswered because one staff member seemed to be handling everything. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were helpful and did their best, but management needs to address the larger issues. The room description was inaccurate. We booked a room advertised with one king bed and two queen beds, but received one king and only one queen. Staff mentioned there is no room available with this configuration and description on external sites...

"So my review actually isn’t about the cleanliness, the location, or the comfort. This is completely about the audacity of the host. We were contacted outside of Verbo from a man who wasn’t even the host claiming that he needed to give us some extra details about our stay. What are the details you ask? We were told that there was no actual running water on the boat. Meaning we would have to use a camp style bucket to shower and a porta potty that was on the dock to use the bathroom. Apparently...
