Located approximately 1,000’ from our first cabin at Maco’s Mountain Resort with the same great views of the Appalachian Mountains. This cabin actually has an extra 64sqft and a extra twin bed in a second loft. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee with the Keurig or 12 cup coffee maker (Coffee not provided) and relax in the 6 person hottub admiring the beautiful night sky. This is the perfect place for a peaceful family getaway. WIFI is now available.

A little slice of heaven

We had such an amazing time at macos cabin. The cabin is beautiful and the views are even better. We had the opportunity to meet maco before we left and it made the whole experience even better. What a wonderful kind person with some really funny stories. If you stay here and don't get to meet maco you are really missing out. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Appalachian Retreat!

Cabin was very clean and well equipped. We absolutely loved soaking in the hot tub and taking in the gorgeous view. It’s far enough out for peace and quiet but close enough for all the sight seeing! Would definitely stay here again!

Second Year Anniversary

We came up here to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We loved the views and the hot tub. Enjoyed sitting around the campfire roasting hot dogs. Enjoyed the cozy feel of the cabin. Will recommend to our friends and family. We liked how it was gated. And we coukd buy fire wood. We spent most of the weekend in the cabin, since the flooding and damage from storm at red river gorge. But the cabin felt cozy. We enjoyed sitting on porch drinking coffee and enjoying the views. The rustic is perfect for coupkes or a famiky as it has more than 1 bed. We will be back.

Secluded getaway

Very happy with the cabin and all of the amenities provided. Clean, quiet area, beautiful view. Hot tub was wonderful on a chilly April night. We would definitely stay here again, but we will pack all of our food for our stay. It’s a bit of a jaunt to go grab a bite to eat. Grocery store and a Walmart within 5-10 minute drive.

Relaxing Retreat

Exceptional views at Maco’s Rustic cabin-secluded and safe, relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub, cozy interior, rocking chairs on the porch, and well stocked kitchen. Bring your own blankets, and everything is clean and ready for your retreat. Maco was super responsive to our needs and a pleasure to talk with. The cabin is a bit remote, but only about 10 mins from stores. Thank you for letting us stay at the Rustic cabin.

Cabin # 2

This was the first time I had stayed in a cabin. This cabin was totally amazing to my surprise!! The pictures definitely don't give the cabin justice. The cabins' view was spectacular as well as the owner being quick to respond to any needs. I would highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place, secluded, and never left! Perfect weekend getaway with Gorgeous view. Hot tub was clean and hot. Excellent host who was very quick at responding to my questions before arrival. We'll be back!

Relaxing vacation

Booked for a relaxing vacation. There was a snowstorm coming in and the host was great. The roads were cleared the entire time. The views from the cabin and hot tub are amazing. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

The property was well maintained and in great condition. The view was amazing and the landscape was peaceful. The only suggestion I have is purchasing a new frying pan.

Great getaway

Beautiful views, cozy cabin. Everything as expected but the hot tub, it wasn’t hot at all the first night and we couldn’t change the temperature. But we called the owner the next day and he came and turned it up, which made it warmer, but it was still not hot so we didn’t get in at all after that, it was freezing too. It snowed the next morning so the views from the bedroom was priceless. Well definitely come back.
