"We had a transformer blow the first hour we were there but the electric company had us up and running in just an hour. We loved being out in the country and the only sounds we heard were light rain and the beautiful birds singing! We got to meet the owner and had her come down and sit on the porch with us and just talk about family and silly things. We fell in love with her and her cabin and we let her know that we would be back for another stay! This was by far the best place we have ever...

"House was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We were hiking a section of the AT and it was very convenient to several trailheads and a store in Bland. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch after our hikes amongst the peaceful countryside and friendly grazing cows! Awesome sunsets as a bonus."

"Perfect place to get away for my birthday. Spent most of the time on the river but the cabin was a perfect place to relax after a day of adventuring. Loved the windows that gave a beautiful view of the river and having kayaks provided for river use was the icing on the cake! 10/10 would stay here again! "

"This was the cutest yurt and had everything we needed from cooking ware to comfort and entertainment. Great wifi service, great location for relaxing and exploring nature activities and local shops. Not a negative thing to say. Would come again and highly recommend!"

"We were impressed with the immaculate condition of the cabin and the grounds. The location was private and cozy. A complete sense of rest fell onto us during our stay. The owner was so kind and thoughtful. While we did walk the property and found hidden spots to enjoy, it was difficult to leave the cabin and the charming front porch. The musical spring/creek lulled us with its peacefulness. We happily look forward to our next stay."

"This cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. We were in town for the New River Trail races (I ran the 50k) and we enjoyed the map of the trail on the dining table. The kitchen was stocked and the snacks and K cups were appreciated. There is a trail down to the river (not for those with limited mobility) and it was a fun adventure finding the markers in the trees.
