The reviews are true. This property is very dated, however for the right price it is a decent place to stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped. There is an onsite ski rental shop, ski lockers, convenience store and wonderful onsens and pool area.

The room was very large, the hotel overall was very new. Great balance between catering for children and adults. The restaurant was very modern and spacious with a great view of the forest. Hotel Sierra Resort Hakuba
The breakfast was wonderful. Something for everyone. Also the daily outdoor winter lunch was very good too. One night we had the Chef’s dinner and it really was excellent. Bell Cottage Village
年末年始２泊しました。駐車場が かなりぬかるんでいて、駐車スペースを確保するのが大変でした。施設の整備や清潔さは特に問題はなかったのですが、チェックインする時間に合わせて暖房をつけておいてもらえると良かったです。暖房器具が１台しかなく部屋が暖まるまでかなり時間がかかりました。

Condominium Hakuba Goryu
We loved our stay here. Shuto and Yuya were excellent hosts. This place definitely gives off hostel/community vibes however you get the comfort of your own room. Convenient location. It’s hard to get around town if you don’t have a car but there are a few shuttles running throughout the day.
