"We had a fantastic stay at this property! For the first time ever, the place actually felt larger than it looked in the photos. That was such a pleasant surprise. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and the space was super clean and comfortable.The amenities really made our trip special: we enjoyed using the kayaks, relaxing on the spacious outdoor deck, and having the convenience of a washer and dryer right on-site. "Mahone Bay has such charm and Mahone oasis is set up perfectly for you to get to different areas of Nova Scotia or just to stay and enjoy the views of the bay. It was pleasant, welcoming and comforting. Tracy and Dave have gone out of their way thinking of all the details you need to enjoy your stay. Well located— next to grocery, bike shop other stores and restaurants. We were sorry to leave. The only caveat is there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment, but the view was wonderful. "

"Lived in Mahone Bay for a while in 1981. Still such a picturesque town and beautiful coastline to explore.The lovely unit of Pam and David’s was clean, comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen, short walk to the main town. Private and elegant, parking, good Wifi, felt like home. Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights."

"A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!"

"This property exceeded our expectations, offering a completely private setting, spotless cleanliness, and a warm welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. Upon arrival, we found everything ready, including the fireplace and hot pool stacked with wood and ready to light, and i'll add, the wood-fired hot pool was a novel experience and a definite highlight.The property's natural setting, with Pennys Brook flowing beside the deck,...

"Once a year my lovelies and I rent a VRBO….this home hosted by Elise was remarkable in every way possible…I highly recommend this home…it was everything and more…Elise was a pleasure to deal with…we even had a few laughs ….we will definitely be back ….no complaints "

"This is a beautiful cabin right on the lake, very peaceful and relaxing! It is a good location for day trips to Lunenberg and the coast, and Kejimkujik NP. Well equipped kitchen (be sure to get groceries before arriving as limited stores nearby). Two canoes made for a fun day of paddling around the lake from island to island. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"Had a lovely stay. Hot tub and sauna were a welcome relief on a couple of cold, snowy days. The view of the ocean through the snow was nice. The stairs are a little steep but manageable. Everything you need is there. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you."
