"I had a very enjoyable stay at the Dunollie Hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great selection of food and a beautiful view to enjoy while eating. Overall, everything was very good, and I would happily stay here again."

"Great inn conveniently located within driving distance of the town supermarket and dining areas. Friendly staff. Nice common areas which included an outdoor gazebo overlooking the water from which you could see amazing sunsets. Also a nice lounge/living room area with plenty of board games and books and a large kitchen. Terrific breakfast buffet. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and spacious. Recommend."

"Charming hotel, very old, but not same standard as London or Edinburgh. Diner at the Restaurant is really good. We chose this hotel because it was near of the ferry for Isle of Skye… unfortunately the ferry was not in service (engine issue)… so 2 hour and a half road trip to get to Quiraing instead… so make sure ferry is in operation if you want to stay in this hotel to get to Isle of Skye"

"Proper stay for a night or two. Very friendly welcome at the bar. Room was recently renovated with a good mattress and clean bathroom. Improvement points: Hallway to the rooms smells to smoking. Service at breakfast could be improved, the lady seemed in a bad mood."

"The view from the hotel room was spectacular. However, there were some shortcuts in the room that were disappointing. There was a towel heating rack that was on but didn't work and a heater in the room with a melted control knob. This gave us cause for concern with electrical problems. The hotel restaurant also had horrible service, but great food as I have posted about previously. There was a bit of a wait for checkout due to traffic too and from the train station with many parties checking...

"Nearly £500 a night, but a complete lack of hospitality We stayed for one night at Hotel Eilean Iarmain, paying £496.57 for our suite and breakfast. While the setting is beautiful, the service and management response were completely unacceptable for a hotel at this luxury price point. At dinner (which was not included in the room rate), my wife's bread for her bouillabaisse was served burnt. By the time it was replaced she had finished the dish, had she waited it would have gone completely...

"Accomodating staff. Rooms were clean but a little small"

"We hardly had a wink of sleep in the tiny first floor room we were allocated at this pub (I hesitate to call it an hotel) because of the noise from the lively bar below. Even when the pub emptied some time after midnight the disturbance continued as staff quarters were situated directly above us and, once they left the bar, loudly creaking floorboards continued to keep us awake until much later. But when we went down for Sunday morning breakfast at 9.15 we were told it had finished at 9a.m....
