"We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was needed after the full days of hiking and bike riding through Acadia. The kitchen was very well appointed, although we never cooked dinner as we enjoyed the Bar Harbor restaurants - More local to the house, be sure to check out the Sea Ketch restaurant… it was delicious. We were only home for one sunset, but it was lovely. Also we highly recommend sailing out on the schooner Margaret Todd, a Cessna flight...

"Loved my stay at Poet's Cabin! The cabin was adorable, clean and cozy. It's even nicely decorated outside so you're charmed at first sight. The owners were fantastic and responsive, even when I arrived late at night, and provided a detailed guide to the area, tips and recommendations, as well as a heads up on a local event that affected local roads/travel. I only wish I could have stayed longer! If I return to the area, Poet's Cabin will be my first pick."

"This was the PERFECT spot for my family and I to stay while exchanging vows in Acadia. The host was very easy to communicate with. The house was everything we needed but the best part was the privacy. It’s completely hidden off of the road and no neighbors on top of you. Deer came to visit us every day which elevated the experience. We had my 15 month old son with us and the house was very accommodating for him too. "The view was absolutely gorgeous and the location was great. The host was communicative and the side porch was lovely to hang out on. Plus the dock was very cool to have access to. Will be back for sure! Note: I think the listing says one of the bedrooms has two beds in it, and that is not correct. Each room has one full bed in it and the living room has a pull out couch.
