Stunning, new, unique, Caribbean front property in Punta Sur - Casa Carey!!

Enjoy spectacular unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea, Punta Sur and the Temple of Ixchel (for which the island is named) from this spacious home, terrace, balconies and large salt water pool! Many island houses have roof top views, but few have true Caribbean ocean front! This house is designed and built by acclaimed architect Ariel Adame! The large open kitchen, living and dining space look onto the Caribbean ocean with large glass doors that easily open onto a covered and uncovered terrace adjacent to a large salt water pool and yard. An open, marble spiral staircase takes you to three master bedrooms. Each bedroom has luxurious linens, large wardrobes, large en-suite bathrooms (with custom organic, 100% handmade Yucatán toiletries) and balconies with breathtaking views. Casa Carey sleeps 6 adults comfortably, 8 total with children. This house includes strong wifi throughout, flat screen smart tv, and spacious chef inspired, fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy all that Isla Mujeres has to offer, including SCUBA diving, fishing, swimming with whale sharks, snorkeling on the underwater museum and the sea turtle conservation center, to name a few. Casa Carey is named after Tortuga Carey, the endangered hawksbill turtle, which breeds in the ocean in front of the cliffs of the house! Casa Carey provides onsite housekeeping, pool cleaning and gardening every other day (or your preferred schedule). House keeping can provide onsite laundry service if needed! We are happy to assist and arrange airport transfer, ferry, golf cart rental, private chef, excursions, groceries, yoga, massage, reservations, taxi, and much more! Tips to our amazing property manager Sofia and staff, for concierge services provided are always appreciated!

Beautiful house perfect for 3 couples. Everything in the home is in great condition. Good communication, great water pressure and AC in each room. No musty smells like you see in other resorts. Something to note is the location on Putna Sur…. It can get windy in the winter months so a sweatshirt at night is a necessity.

Just got back from a 7 night stay at Casa Carey. Incredible experience. This was our 3rd time in Isla and decided to stay on the South end, which is much quieter and low key. The house is gorgeous and provides everything that you can think of (floats, beach towels, games, speaker, bathroom amenities). Sofia is the estate caregiver and she is beyond fantastic. We scheduled yoga, massages, dinner reservations, golf cart rental and even had her and her dad come and cook us a meal... all planned before we even arrived. She is extremely attentive to anything you need simply over text. We had an issue with our golf cart and she was on top of it right away. Although the weather was on the cooler side and the wind was howling almost everyday which prevented us from getting in the pool, we still made it a wonderful vacation with friends. 10/10 and we will look to book here again in the future. Thanks Sofia (and Carey), you made our trip seamless and unforgettable (and we love your dogs!) - The Chadwicks

Driving up the main road, the house shines like a castle against the sea, an absolutely stunning piece of architecture. It was the perfect place for our wide-ranging family group, from two small kids to elderly parents and friends, with everyone having space and their own wow moment. The views, beds, showers, and staff care were exceptional, and Sofia’s cooking, warmth, and attentiveness made the experience unforgettable. This was truly a trip of a lifetime, and we’re already booking our next stay.

Our second trip to case carey and already booked our third. A wonderful home w great kitchen and bedrooms facing caribbean breeze and ocean views. Sophia a wonderful host and chef. Juanita and ronaldo a great team. Loved walking and running along the trail behind the house. Closet of pool toys, yoga mats, ... so many extras. Having stayed at many properties at punta sur, we can assure you this one is special

Fantastic property, beautiful views, clean, and the on-site property manager, Sofia, is the absolute best! Great communication and incredibly helpful. She arranged golf cart rental, wonderful massages and even medical services/IV fluids (unfortunately). We also used Sofia’s private chef services for dinner one night. Sofia and her dad, Luis, are amazing cooks and wonderful people! Enjoyed our stay and would return.

Our only regret is not staying longer :)

What an incredible experience! This trip was a birthday treat for my husband and his twin brother. Both our families came, which included a 3.5 and 1.5 year old. The house was exactly what we needed. It was open and well-kept. Plus the ocean view, patio and pool were perfect. There was no one staying at the house immediately next door so it was very peaceful and quiet. There was a party on the other side, but the vacant lot between made it a relative non-issue. While the house was incredible, it was Sofia that really made the experience seamless, especially with 2 littles. She has great communication leading up to the trip, helping plan for a crib and high chair, airport transportation, massages and a golf cart. SO easy. She was unavaialble for in-home dining but refereed us to another chef. I can't say enough good things about the experience with Quetzal Gourmet Experience! The food was DELICIOUS, they were very respectful of the space (planning, set up, service and cleanup), presented multiple menu options, offered very fair pricing and were just friendly people :) My daughter LOVED the snapper they made for the fish tacos. 10/10, no notes, we look forward to being back for a longer stay in the future.

Flawless experience on Isla Mujeres

I just returned with my family of five from a wonderful week at Casa Carey. The house was absolutely beautiful. The house is exactly as pictured, and the view is even more breathtaking in person. I loved staying on the quieter and less crowded south side of the island. Having said all that, it was the property manager, Sofia, who is responsible for the success of our family vacation. She coordinated everything from airport transfer, golf cart rental, in-house massage and tours. I had never been to the area and Sofia made everything easy and accessible. We also deeply enjoyed the delicious meal that she, her father and brother prepared for us. To top it all off, when I forgot my driver's license with the golf cart rental agency, Sofia herself brought it to my hotel on the mainland the last night that I was in town. Do not hesitate to book this experience at Casa Carey.

- UNBELIEVABLY STUNNING!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Casa Carey and could not be happier with our choice! The home is breathtaking; from the sleek décor, to the perfectly situated windows offering sea views from nearly every room in the house (even the bathrooms), to how well the house was maintained and cleaned. Everything you could want or forgotten at home was there already (sunscreen, hats, rafts, pool towels, grill, anything and everything you could need in the kitchen to include top notch kitchenware, spices and even ziplock baggies!). The pool was a perfect meeting location to regroup and relax! The home was big enough to allow our 4 adults and 2 kids time to relax, while still enjoying the outdoors. The location was superb, offering peace and quiet at night and in the early morning hours with a trail leading to Punta Sur. Speaking of our host, Sofia where do we begin?! You’re an absolute angel, a superb chef, with an amazing family/team that hosted our private dinner. Sofia was extremely responsive and helpful the She not only had our transportation waiting for us for a seamless ride to Casa Carey, she had the golf carts waiting for us at the house! (the only reason we didn’t have our carts at the Ferry was because we had so much luggage, lol). We were SO blown away by her skills as our Chef for the night and will cherish our time spent with her family as one of the many highlights from our trip. Honestly, your service is top notch & we can’t wait to return!

Excellent up-scale option for a smaller group.

The property is very beautiful, right on the water, and couldn't be nicer. Fresh flowers and a cleaning twice were welcome and unexpected. Sofia was extremely easy to communicate with and was even able to procure some snacks and groceries for us before we arrived. The only issue is that the listing shows a washer and dryer, but we found out after arrival that it wasn't for guest use. I'd suggest adjusting the listing to be more accurate.
