Jackson's Trails & Tails is now available for our friends who are ready to enjoy the beautiful Little Manistee River and everything that is "UP North". This 2-story cabin has undergone a fresh renovation throughout including an addition of a main floor master bedroom / bathroom and has an open floor plan with 2 full baths + an additional 1/2 bath and laundry room. Enjoy WIFI via Starlink, Cell service, fit pit area w/ some wood provided and a beautiful new screened in porch. Fully stocked kitchen, Flat Screen TV W/ local channels, cable & streaming, A/C and an electric fireplace all nestled around a cozy up north knotty pine feel. The cabin sits on a level bluff with an easy walking path approximately 50 yards to the riverfront deck.

This property offers some amazing and challenging river Kayaking, world class salmon, Steelhead and trout fishing, 750 miles of connected snowmobile trails and hundreds of miles of groomed ORV trails, thousands of acres of hiking, biking, hunting and very close to some of Michigan's best downhill and cross-country ski trails and Lake Michigan is only 35 minutes away. Irons is known for being an outdoor recreation hub!

You are 5 minutes from Bass Lake - Natahka, 25 minutes from Caberfae Peaks / Coyote Crossing, 45 minutes from Ludington, 35 minutes from Manistee and Little River Casino. One hour to Cadillac and Traverse City, MI. You are surrounded by 1000's of acres of National Forest for hiking, fishing and hunting everything from mushrooms to sasquatch. Fishing & kayaking opportunities abound out your back door. We have kayaks and canoes available. A beautiful screened in porch allows you to enjoy sunsets, nature and all the peace of the river, without the bugs / mosquitos. This cabin will check all the boxes for rest, relaxation, technology and many awesome memories with family & friends for your Northern Michigan Adventure. Come relax and unwind at the river!!!

Note: This property has several beautiful taxidermy mounts from the owners' adventures. If you are not a fan a taxidermy / animal mounts, this is likely not a good rental choice for you. There is no bathroom upstairs and the steps to the upstairs are somewhat steep and may not be suitable for senior adults or children.
This property is most comfortable with a maximum of 6-10 individuals, Ten is also the maximum we allow for any rental group - no exceptions. Propane stainless steel grill & Blackstone griddle provided.
