"I can honestly say I've never stayed in a cabin without a restroom or electricity and I heated it with the wood they provided which was very funlight were propane lights, lit with a match. However the drive up and down the Mt. Was at the least, not for the faint of heart...very rough on my car."

"Alice in the café was remarkably helpful and friendly. Tipi was a cool experience; clean & comfortable inside. Bathrooms are clean and close by. Food in the café is good and reasonably priced (for CA). Pro-tip if your tipi has an evaporative cooler: ask for ice to put in it; it’ll cool the tipi right down."

"Located off the beaten track by a river, this cabin had three queen sized beds making it very comfortable for three senior ladies. It is also about 30 minutes from Sequoia National Park, and a great place to return to after a long day. "

"Perfect for our one night stay while visiting Sequoia National Park. Spacious , clean home with extra large primary suite, super comfy bed and everything we needed. Kids loved having their own rooms. Back patio was a tranquil spot for morning coffee. Wish we had more time to explore the grounds! Perfect location with a quick drive to restaurants and the national park. "

"Pros: The cabin was cozy, spacious, and clean, with a large living room. It had one room with two queen beds and another room with two single beds, which was great for our group. The kitchen and dining area were also clean and well-equipped. Cons: There’s no on-site laundry, but there are a few options nearby. The good review & clean laundromat is the Lakeside Market and laundry, about a 30-minute drive away."

"We had a great stay at this property. It was quiet, clean, and spacious. Kitchen was well-appointed and we had everything we needed. Would definitely book again. "

"The location was so serene and a perfect distance (short distance) from Sequoia NP. We stayed 4 nights and would definitely come back. Full kitchen. "

"Overall really enjoyed the stay. Had a bad smell first night from previous tennant but it went away. Be aware, the shower is only comfortable if your under 5'2,Not kidding. "

"Fantastic getaway! The cabin is deep in the mountains in the best way possible. Close by to the park entrance (Sequoia), quiet, and has everything you need to rest and recharge with nature!"

"Our family had a great time at the River House. The property was gorgeous and we all enjoyed walking to the River, sitting on the porch looking at the mountains and listening to the sound of the River. The house was good and comfortable. The kids loved the game room. Just a few things would have made the house a 5, too, but we would definitely stay there again. Had that peaceful, easy feeling!"
