"My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

"Beautiful Property, very clean and well maintained. Very well stocked, had everything that you could possibly need. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed watching the wildlife from the large windows. Would definitely recommend staying."

"Cutest little house in the woods. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, and the very comfortable bed. It was quiet and relaxing in this home, and it was so nice to have the essentials provided (like coffee, sugar, creamer, garbage bags, paper towels, detergent). Very close to the brewery, and to the center of town. "

"We had a great time in West Virginia and the Chalet. The properry was well maintained and the host was very proactive with checking in to see if we arrived and got inside without incident, and to see if we needed anythjng. "

"This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. "

"Great home and location. Back deck could use a few more umbrellas. During our stay an additional umbrella was requested and brought over very quickly. Great service. On our last day (Tuesday), there was a lot of construction noise coming from the brewery. Not sure what was going on, but it eventually stopped. Would definitely come back again. My parents loved their 60 th Anniversary celebration."

"Clean house. Abundance of toys for the kids to play with. Ample room to fit all 5 of us with a close proximity to harpers ferry and with in day trips of DC and Baltimore."

"We really enjoyed our weekend here. The place was clean and comfortable, and a great base for outdoor activities and just staying put. There are neighbors, not too close, and it was very quiet. The whole process was easy, and we would definitely come back!"

"Everything was perfect!"

"Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances. We brought our 4 small dogs - but had them caged 90% of the time since we could not trust them to not jump on the couch with us. We roasted smores on the fire pit, enjoyed the lower deck bar and...

"Our second stay at this wonderful place! It's easy to see that the owners understand the value of unreasonable hospitality for their customers! Extensive thought has went into caring for your stay and that you have the things you need! I like the fact that it feels like home with the same quality of items you'd buy and use yourself. "This is an excellent house well set up for families and larger groups. We really enjoyed the layout of the house, multiple bathrooms and hot tub. Note that the internet is not super strong. We tried streaming and it wasn't possible. Not a problem but if you are planning on streaming it's not much of an option. We enjoyed the local activities and would return again. It was well equipped and has all you need for a retreat, or place to go an check out various activites. Thank you!"
