Perfect Multi-Family Storyland Stay

We booked Matthew's home for a multi-family trip to Storyland. The house was perfect for 3 families with kids. Each family could use their own section of the house (each w/ bedrooms and a bathroom) and then meet up in the living room to hang out. Only a few minutes from Storyland and North Conway dining options. We never had to drive far with young kids. Home was very clean and free from the insects you may typically see in a wooded neighborhood. Matthew is very quick to respond to messages and made our trip very easy. Thank you!

Pluses: will sleep ten people with comfortable beds; dog friendly location; very close to a river so bring fishing gear; a vast array of condiments and oils for cooking. Cons: the outside trash bin located inside the lower level. It’s ok to take bear precautions BUT this should be known about prior to booking, not on check in day; forget about sleeping with very loud AC units,: black mold behind every curtain and window sill; towels, plates and glasses: BYO if you really have ten people; plan on doing towel laundry if you have ten people; wobbly tables; check out time; communication: at 9:30 on checkout day a crew arrived with no notice to spray a hornet’s nest under the deck stairs. We had a pregnant woman as well as dogs, and at 9:35 the hornets that survived the toxic spray were on the warpath. So I messaged owner that we would give it an hour for toxins to disperse and remaining hornets to die or leave the area, and leave at 10:30. Response?? “Checkout is at 10”…

Great stay close to N Conway

This cabin was perfect for our stay. 6 Adults, 3 children under 2, and 2 dogs. Plenty of room for all of us. The cabin was clean and appeared exactly as it looked in the pictures. Location was great.. short drive to N Conway center and walking distance to Tuckerman’s Tavern (Highly recommend!). Matt was an excellent host. He was very responsive to the small issues that we had and worked to fix them right away. My only complant was that the gas stove in the living room was out of service which would have been nice for the cold winter days during our stay. We would gladly rent this cabin again.

Disappointed this time :(

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it was extremely disappointing this time. I’d like to say the property itself is amazing, great location and the owner is great but cleaning staff not so much. Upon check in we found several issues right away and found more during the course of our stay. There were stains on bedding and towels, there were cobwebs everywhere, the floors looked as though they hadn’t been washed in a long time (hair all over bathroom floors), there was not enough wash clothes for everyone, there was not enough toilet paper, the dishwasher had dishes from previous guest, the freezer and refrigerator had food from previous guest, there was trash on top of refrigerator, etc. I had a bag of trash before I even unpacked. When out friends and family arrived they found issues in their rooms. There was dirty socks and lip balm in one of the bedrooms, etc. All in all very disappointing and VERY embarrassing as I am the organizer of this Christmas trip every year.

Weekend getaway

We stayed here with our kids for a weekend away in New Hampshire to see the Fall foliage. We had an absolutely great time. The property was perfect for a large family. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The property was super clean and very well maintained. This was our first time staying at a VRBO and we would definitely go back to this location again! It was outstanding.

Absolutely Stunning Property

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for a Christmas Weekend I had planned. Everything was absolutely amazing. From first contact with the hosts to check out and everything in between was above and beyond. The hosts are super helpful and communicative. The property itself is awesome. The pictures and listing do not do it justice. It is two floors plus a loft. The entry level is like a finished basement with a living area complete with a TV, games and a full sized Pac Mac Arcade game, one bedroom with a queen bed and two single rooms with each with a twin bed, a bathroom and laundry. The main floor has another living room with TV, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms each with queen beds, a bathroom, a sunroom/mudroom and a master suite with king bed and gorgeous bathroom. Then there is a loft with a queen bed. We weren't outside at all due to weather but there was a deck with picnic table and grill and there was a huge firepit in the yard. The property was super clean and very well stocked with anything you could possibly need. Everyone was so impressed that they are already talking about next year. Thank you so much for sharing your property with us we look forward to our next visit.

The perfect Family house!

Matt and Tammy’s home was perfect for our family vacation. There was 10 of us total and it was plenty comfortable for all of us. It’s conveniently located to restaurants, town in North Conway, and settlers green. The neighbor is close by but she was an absolute sweetheart and even gave out fur babies treats! Matt and Tammy were very easy to communicate with and always answered any questions I had. This home was exactly as advertised online. We definitely plan on coming back! Thank you Matt and Tammy!

We booked this place few days before the check in date and got a very warm welcome messages from the hosts, including some reminders and very helpful tips about the property and places to check out in the area. The place is lovely and everything looks exactly what it shows in the pictures. The kitchen surprised me alot given that you have almosy everything you need there like cutleries, plates, some condiments, etc. The place feels like home and just wanted to leave there. My friends and I loved the experience overall.

This house was perfect. Stayed with my family and 2 of my sisters and their families. It was perfect 3 bathrooms, and lots of beds. The location was great. Quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. Everything we needed was there. Looked exactly as pictured. Thanks Matt for an amazing place to stay.

Our family had a great time spending Father’s Day weekend at this beautiful chalet! It’s a wonderful area and a short drive to Storyland. The owners were incredibly hospitable. Highly recommended for a memorable vacation!

Great private location, clean, updated, comfortable, accommodating

Thoroughly enjoyed this clean, updated accommodating home in a nice neighborhood with a walking trail and river near buy. Central to skiing, hiking, shopping and eating. Home accommodated 4 adults with private bedrooms and full size beds. Two additional bedrooms with twin and bunk beds as well. Lots of updates, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Great for any activity in the valley. Highly recommend.

Fun family weekend in the woods

We had a great stay. Awesome peaceful location just outside North Conway but felt like you’re in the middle of the woods. Rustic charm yet fully updated amenities and comfy couch and beds. Two furnished floors plus a loft created plenty of space for all. We’ll definitely go back!

Great vacation house for multiple families

The house was well kept and clean and has a large amount of space. There were lots of games for the kids and the beds were comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed. It's in a great location and we would definitely think about saying there again.
