Welcome! Cozy spot on River. No Wifi. Unplug and Unwind . Month to month is possible if requested. Quiet,Quaint and Cozy Cabin .One level duplex cabin. No shared amenities with exception of fire ring in yard where you can cook S’mores and Steaks . Your Fur babies are welcome as well! ( small pet cleaning fee) The ambiance entails a quiet county road and property is encapsulated by a river to the north and west a literal no crime township. Spacious 2 acres of your own private mini resort atmosphere without the cost ! Directly on main Highway to the south so the area is easily accessible! Lots of spacious Parking for all of your outdoor activities! There’s-a massage chair so you can take the aches off your muscles from long days of sledding or fishing etc! There is a train that blows it’s eerie yet nostalgic whistle through the quiet village setting and you can sometimes hear the coyotes howling along if you listen carefully. Located directly on highway53 very convenient location and absolutely no crime ! Maximum Guests 4. There is a Queen bed, Full bed, 1 futon and very large sofa .Very Clean cared for Cabin unit. With all the personal homey touches and extra amenities to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible ! Perfect Escape for Writers Photographers Couples Small Families or a group of guys or gals wanting to catch up and Getaway!

Enjoy the stay

We really enjoyed our 2-day stay here. April is such a great host. Great communication. She addressed our questions promptly. She was so sweet to get life jackets for us since I asked about canoe other reviewer mentioned. We found everything we need and more except wifi and phone/text coverage. No coverage ended up to be the blessing for us with my 2 college kids. We spent our time talking, cooking, taking turn on massage chairs, and the highlight is canoeing on the river in the back of the house. We would go to International City to get grocery after visiting national park and checking emails/getting on internet/making phone calls and texts there before coming back to house to cook dinner and hang out. I highly recommend staying here! Thank you, April!

Coupdn't ask for a better stat

April is an amazing host, she made us feel more than welcome. She made us bagels on our arrival and left treats for our pup. The massage chair and tanning bed are relaxing especially if the weather is bad. If you love the outdoors with a few modern amenities this is the place.

Sweet cabin loaded with love

The owner of this property is clearly a sweetie pie, and also a consummate host because the amenities, the extra touches and the lovely notes she left around the cottage certainly conveyed that impression. There were biscuits and a dog bed laid out for the pup, ingredients to make s’mores (including brand new marshmallow toasting sticks), toiletries of all kinds and every kind of spice, kitchen appliance, condiment and creature comfort we could possibly need. The property sits right next to a highway which has so little traffic on it that I don’t think we heard three cars go by all night. There is also a train track nearby, and three or four trains past during our stay, but it was charming and nostalgic to hear the train whistle as it went by. It was certainly not a problem in any way! we were just sorry not to have the opportunity to meet our host and thank her in person for both her generosity and her thoughtfulness. A great stopover spot on our trip north to Canada.

Cozy location perfect for a few friends to get away

Host was very gracious on ammenities and more than available on helping if we needed anything or had questions about the town. Provided wood and smores for the fire pit. Was overall fantastic and would visit again if in the area.

Quiet and has Everything you’ll need!

Cozy 2 bedroom cabin was in the perfect location. Cabin had all the essentials and more! Very clean and quiet neighborhood. Visited Voyageurs National Park, coming back to see more sights.

Seriously, just so nice!

We really loved our stay at the cabin! We felt so welcome and at home, we didn't mind having to stay because of the rain. Literally anything we needed was provided! Its in a great location! Not too far from International Falls, but also close enough to Kabetogama to make it an easy drive. April, you knocked it out of the park for us! This was the break we needed to recharge and remotivate. Thank you so much!!

Perfect quiet getaway!

Owner made us feel well loved and taken care of! We wanted a quiet getaway, it was perfect on a river, a fire pit, canoe(was cold and didn’t use, but was available). I would absolutely stay here again!

Comfortable cabin with amazing hospitality for any needs for your stay. Easy access and convenient to Voyager National Park and International Falls. Highly recommended for an enjoyable visit to the area.
