Friday Harbour Resort is not only a sprawling all-season resort in Innisfil on the shores of Lake Simcoe. It's also ground zero for training the next generation of workers in the hospitality sector.

Located at the end of Big Bay Point Road, the 600-acre property boasts a nature preserve, marina, restaurants, shops, and accommodation.

The resort’s growth trajectory shows no signs of slowing down, officials says. With only 35 per cent of the resort currently developed, the company says there will be many opportunities for growth and expansion in the next few years and they are always looking for talented individuals.

But the resort says it also places great value on current colleagues with a strong internal culture, training and development opportunities, and a focus on promotion and advancement from within.

it is a scam nobody came to let us in or give us an entry code this has happened to others this property should not be listed. Now I have to try to get my money back. Expedia and Vrbo you should be ashamed. Thanks to you our weekend was a disaster. Will be thinking twice before using either of again and will spread the word about this. Social media here I come. When are you going to get back to me about a refund Why will you not print this, its the truth.

We didn't get access to rental no parking instruction and we had to look for accommodation last minute I reported it to @fridayharbour this unit should not be rented out due to host not responding . Now trying to get refund do not rent this unit !

The host was “out of town”, therefore not able to let us into the property. We didn’t find out until 30 minutes before our planned check in when we called VRBO to inquire about check in procedure, because we hadn’t received any info from the host. So we were left with no place to stay,even though the stay was paid for upfront, and according to the VRBO customer service rep their policy is that because we had only booked one night they were not obligated to help us find alternate accommodation or otherwise compensate us (if we had have booked 2 or more nights apparently they would help….) Brutal!!

Worst host! Never gave me details to get into the unit and was not able to be contacted at all

I booked this property a week out. 2 days before I messaged about parking with no response. I went up the day of check in waiting for my email with info to access the unit. I got no email. Tried calling and messaging many times during the day. In the emd had to leave town and go home due to nowhere to stay. This is the worst experience I have ever had with VRBO and I hope to be compensated for the torubles but still waiting to hear from vrbo escalation team. Not not rent from this person
