"Cozy, clean and quiet. The lake is absolutely gorgeous. Clear sandy bottom and shallow along the shoreline. We enjoyed kayaking and even caught a few sunnies! We made most of our meals at the cabin but did venture out to Riley's Cannibal Junction for a couple of awesome burgers and a quick stop at Hayslips Corner just down the road. "This little slice of heaven was perfect for our two little families. The water was clear and great for swimming (was a little mucky right off the dock, but if u want out a bit it was firmer). The big bock was a plus for the kiddos and we didn’t have to worry about them slipping. We enjoyed our time!"

"Nice property and location. Would stay again. Only compliant is the beds are way too soft. We stay at my cousins resort 3 times a year. Our 4th trip is in the winter when they aren't open. So next year we will probably stay here again if available "

"Great location, cabin was very clean and fairly spacious. There's no ac but having windows open and using block fans made it work well. There were tons of bugs around, but that's to be expected. Would definitely come back!"

"Came for a fishing trip and this is a great location...centrally located to all the big lakes we wanted to fish."

"As you get closer to the cabin the forest gets more dense.Look up at the lush canopy that surrounds you.Suddenly it’s quiet and the noise of the outside world is gone.The cabin has a short steep driveway off a quiet dirt road.It feels very private.The large fire pit(great for fire cooking)is surrounded by tall trees & moss covered ground.Bring your phone and go on a mushroom hunt around the property.The bathroom is the fanciest outhouse you will find. "Perfect location for those looking to xx ski and fish. Miles of groomed trails nearby and unlimited back country skiing via the lake and Chippewa National Forest. We loved how quiet the lake was. No human activity other than our group. The dogs had a blast exploring the national forest and its critters. Fishing was fantastic. There's a large sunken bar about 3/4 mile east of the cabin that supported a diverse fish community. The cabin is so spacious with the massive game room attached. So many...

"What a beautiful place! Cabin was stunning and very well stocked. The grounds were very well kept and it was just a peaceful place to be in the present. "Clean, but not real clean. Ive stayed in worse. Coffee maker has mold. Wi dows havent been cleaned since last season. Otherwise, fairly clean and comfortable. Could use another toilet with being able to sleep so many people. Definitely know when its morning, traffic is noisy"

"The property was well maintained and easy to use for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with the needed pots/pans/dishes/utensils. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The listing wasn’t completely clear that the property was a part of a larger condo building with other guests staying right next door and there were a lot of flies and beetles on the floors and walls. "

"The tent cabin is really cute and was comfortable for a family of four. We used the sauna and also rented the boat for a couple of days. It is on the steep driveway, which isn’t a problem for us since our car is four-wheel-drive, but you will want to avoid driving to the bottom if you have a 2 Wheel Dr. car. Be aware that the lakefront is not swimmable because of high vegetation, but the lake itself is beautiful and great to take a boat on. Close to Grand Rapids and many other activities. "

"Loved the tiny cabin. Was clean and comfortable (the AC was a blessing). The only drawback was that we couldn't have a fire due to no firestarter in the cabin. Also, the phone number listed in the guest book for the host, is not correct so we had ZERO communication with the host. "

"I enjoyed a snowy weekend getaway here. It has a warm and homey atmosphere, especially with the gas fireplace. The decor is folksy and charming. The bed is really soft and comfy. And the host is super friendly!"
