The Neighborhood:
Our neighborhood is very sensitive to noise. We ask that you deliver the same level of respect you’d want from your own neighbors and be mindful of your noise levels while at our home.

Many of the homes in our surrounding area are in the process of gentrification, we're one of the first of many upcoming new builds in the neighborhood.

Parking is very limited. The street in front is narrow. You are permitted to park one vehicle in the garage and one on the street in front. Please let us know if there will be more than two vehicles involved in your stay as we will assist you with finding alternative parking. There is a marked handicapped parking space for our neighbor on the street in front, you are not permitted to park there. Cars are subject to tow at the city’s discretion.

Please be respectful of our neighbors in the duplex next door. Yard games should not be played adjacent to their fence as objects of the game may get lost over the fence. At no point in time is it permitted to enter the neighbor’s fenced and gated yard for any reason. Please reach out if you do need anything and I am happy to contact them.

• Please refrain from letting your furry friend unleashed or left running outside to avoid the tendency of running over our neighbors' lawn.

•Please do not move any furniture in the home -
*A minimum charge of $100 will be billed to guest if any pieces of furniture have been moved

While we do our best to keep the propane tanks full and ready for use for our guests, there is the chance that it was recently emptied. When this is the case, we kindly ask the guest to take the empty propane tank to the nearest gas station to refill the tank, and a reimbursement will be made to the guest.

• If you will be using the hot tub, please be sure to place the cover back on when done.

• Our jacuzzi tech regularly visits every Monday morning for the hot tub upkeep.

• We'd be delighted to welcome you and your furry friend! We do have a $75 pet fee per pet.

Girls Get-A-Way

Great 1/2 way location for a girls gathering. Beds comfy, nice for each girl to have her own sleeping space. Enjoyed the outdoor seating area for cocktails and conversation. You are attached to your neighbor-so if they are loud, you’ll hear it.

Great place, needs some upkeep

There were a lot of great things about the place. It is close to downtown and all of the activities, check in was easy, the upstairs is well done with bathrooms and bedrooms. The mattresses were comfy and bedding was nice. The tv outside was great as well and the hot tub worked well. There was also use of a garage which was nice for extra peace of mind.Some things needed updating though. The fire table was broken with caution tape on it while we were there, the chairs by it were also badly worn and in need of some stain. The sliding door to the outside barely opened, one of the chairs on the deck was broken and many of the cushions dirty from use. Only one of the heat lamps worked. We played bags (corn hole) there but 3 of the bags broke open just by being weathered I think (we sewed 2 together but then ran out of thread). The couch arm in the living room was broken and we found mouse poop in the couch while the kids were doing an easter egg hunt.When I communicated these things, they did respond quickly saying they would work to fix those things for the next guest but I would be sure that they are fixed if hoping to use any of those items.

Comfortable

Beds were clean and comfortable. Black out curtains needed in master bedroom due to street lights outside. Was disappointed outdoor fireplace was not working. Sofa in master should be removed and small dresser and tv added.

Excellent

Very nice property! The kids loved the back patio with tv, fireplace, and the hot tub. I enjoyed all the different options the TV offered, and the comfy couch. It was a nice quiet chill place to stay. Enjoyed watching the Fever play Friday night. Would recommend.

Cute with potential

Andrea was fairly easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The property was set up as explained in the listing, sadly we communicated the hot tub needing service for use and although we were told someone would be by to give attention to it; no one did come and this was the whole reason we chose this property, for the hot tub. The backyard was cute, but the game area had many weeds, the fireplace had missing glass and the tall fire lanterns did not work. Lastly, the patio remote for the tv was missing. The up keep and cleanliness of the home was extremely disappointing as there was dirt and dust covering many shelves, surfaces and trim. Firstly, we saw a mouse in the living room upon entering the property last night! In the bunk room the top bunk had dirt and hairs in on the bed and was not made. Lastly, there was only one trash can in the whole house, not any in a bedroom or bathroom. The neighborhood is less than desirable currently but with a functioning backyard and quiet neighbors a weekend retreat at this property would be great!

Wonderful Stay!

We loved the property! When traveling with kiddos, it can be tricky, but we loved all of the amenities that it had to offer -- outdoor lawn games, plenty of space for sleep accommodations (and a pack-n-play), fire-pit, hot tub, and rocks to play in :) We were a bit nervous about the location due to the description, but it was perfectly fine, and we loved the location in relation to the zoo, children's museum, and downtown restaurants. The only issue we had was the outdoor TV screen wasn't working, but they responded to us extremely quickly, and it didn't ruin our stay by any means.

This property is decorated super cute (love the neon sign and painted mural!), and my family loved the hot tub. The back yard had lots for us to do, and we enjoyed watching a movie outside as a family. Unfortunately it seems as though someone had thrown a party previous to our stay, as the living room couch and rug smelled of urine & beer, and we were unable to use the room at all. The duvets had some stuff on them and seemed as though they didn’t get cleaned, and the parking situation was a little frustrating. We only took one vehicle, and when the road in front of the property was blocked, we parked one house down (my vehicle was too large to fit into the garage). We then got a text that we were parked in front of someone else’s home and needed to move. I think if the parking situation were better, the living room furniture was replaced & there were TVs in the bedroom to watch before bed, we would have truly enjoyed our stay. Although the area did seem a little suspect at times, you can tell they are trying to fix things up and we loved that we were so close to restaurants and coffee. Overall we had a good stay, and definitely give the backyard 5 stars.
