"What a comfortable and cozy place to stay! The location is perfect for a visit to Indiana --- close to downtown, IUP, shopping, and even a lovely park with hiking trails. Chris, our host, was terrific: great communication and the property was just as described. We enjoyed quiet walks in the neighborhood and the back deck is perfect for a morning or evening cup of coffee. The bed was comfy and the bath was well appointed. We had a wonderul stay. Highly recommend!"

"We were looking for a place to stay for one night, and this worked out fine. The location was great for getting to IUP. Definitely a bare bones kind of place, no napkins or even paper towels. No shampoos or soaps, and half of the light bulbs did not work. The traffic noise was very loud with the air conditioning units still in the windows. But it was pretty clean and we only needed a place to sleep."

"The hosts Timothy and Lana were absolutely incredible and the sweetest people. They are very responsive and incredibly accommodating. The property is just as described. Peaceful with modern accommodations. Bed is super comfortable! "

"This place was great. I am sad I had to leave early. Nice quiet place to relax. I especially enjoyed sitting out on the porch with my laptop watching the many deer stop by and eat the apples on the ground. "

"Pulled up and garbage all over the front. Opened the door and smell made us gag. Hair all over bathroom so we left and did not stay. Horrible area of town, property is disgusting"

"Our family of four would normally stay in a hotel when coming to visit family in Blairsville, but this time we opted to try something different. The Bakery Loft was a great space for our family! There is plenty of room in the loft for a family to spread out so you are not on top of each other like a hotel room. You have the 2nd and 3rd floor available to you! "What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. The check in was simple and parking in the back worked out great. The kitchen is enormous, stocked with plenty of utensils/dishes, soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper shakers.
