Cozy Home outside Independence City Limits! 3 beds and 2 baths. Close to all!

This 3 bed 2 bath home is outside city limits, but close to everything!

Everything you will need for your stay is included; linens, cookware, laundry and more! Above ground pool is open during the peak at summer season. (May/ June thru Aug)

Home sits on an acre and half, with a small pond and above ground pool! Carport parking also available.

The 3 bedrooms will sleep 6 comfortably. Gather around in the open living area and kitchen with a large bar and eating area overlooking the deck, back yard and pool!

Outside you will enjoy an outdoor sitting area with ceilings fans , gas grill and a small pond. Enjoy your evenings watching the birds, squirrels or kids playing in the expansive yard.

The front porch sports a large porch swing and has some of the best sunset views in Kansas!

Inside the house has 3 bedrooms. A master with a queen size bed, 3/4 bath and private exit to the deck and swimming area. Wake up to the beautiful sunrise coming in the sliding glass doors!

The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed that will sleep 2 as well and a full closet. And finally the 3rd bedroom has a new twin day bed with a new full twin trundle bed below, so will sleep 2 as well.

This a well loved family home in a quiet neighborhood! Keep in mind it was originally built in the early 1930’s and added on too over the years, so there are cracks in the in the dry wall from years of settling and nail holes where cherished pictures once hung, but that adds to its charm. If you looking for perfection this is not it, but it is a comfortable laid back home you will feel at peace in!!

Home was cozy and comfortable....larger deck made it great and relaxing. The host was informative and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time...hard to leave!!!

It was fine, but I could not recommend. Very dirty and windows do not lock.

Unfortunately, this was the dirtiest rental I have ever stayed in. The floor was unswept and unmopped, although the carpet seemed vacuumed in most places. There was debris on the floor and dead bugs in corners. The kitchen was very dirty inside the fridge, ice bin in freezer, inside cabinets with bakeware, and the cabinet doors were coated with grime. Both showers had significant mildew. I still would have given it a 3 star for a convenient location, nice neighborhood, and beautiful backyard, however it didn't feel like a secure place to stay because the windows in the living room and in one spare bedroom do not lock. I did not sleep well or feel secure about my items in the home as a result. We needed a home that would accept a 50 pound dog on short notice, so this home made our weekend plans work, but I cannot recommend it and would not revisit.

Perfect for Neewollah

We gathered for the annual Neewollah festival, and it was a great place for the family to spend time together. The back porch was perfect for hanging out and we had plenty of room in the house for all 6 of us. Thanks to our hostess for answering all of our questions!

Hiking Elk City State Park

Weekend getaway to enjoy the early fall weather and explore Elk City State Park. Good base camp with wonderful outdoors to have dinner and unwind. Pool to cool off for warmer temperatures. Interior somewhat dated but was not looking for modern accommodations. Very quiet location. For dog lovers, partially fenced in the back yard. Location close to coffee shop and a local Walmart.

Great place to get away

Very nice, clean and quiet home away home. Very large deck and a big pool made those hot summer days amazing! Host was Amazing. Would highly recommend!
