"Perfect location for our half way stop on NC 500 so glad we had sunshine as the roads to the cottage would be challenging in bad weather. We did try to drive down to the beach for sunset but missed the turning and ended up stuck behind a herd of cows. It was good to light a fire have a drink and warm up a pizza. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we forgave it because everything else was so good ( and we do usually sleep on king size vspring which is difficult to match away from home) "

"Nice Pods. Clean and cozy We stayed one night with a family of 4. Beach is a stonethrow away. "

"They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. "My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful three weeks at Foinaven, and had a couple of friends from home visit for a week during our stay. We flew in and out of Inverness and rented a car for a reasonable price so that we could take day trips here and there (we really didn’t need it much in Ullapool, except for larger grocery runs). "The studio is very clean, modern and cozy; perfectly and thoughtfully equipped. The view is great. It is very quiet. We have stayed in a lot of apartments, but this one is outstanding. We very much enjoyed our stay despite the rainy weather."

"Lovely location as a base to explore the North West coast of the Highlands. Spacious house, good wood burner, good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen with all you'd expect. My only complaint would be a lack of some sundries, such as there were only a few toilet rolls between us 7 adults and 2 children - 2 out of the 3 bathrooms we used ran out of toilet paper. We also felt they were a bit stingy with laundry detergent - something which again we ran out of and had to buy our own. The other...

"From the cottage you have great views over loch broom. The kitchen gets a lot of light from 3 roof windows and is very well equipped. The rooms are very cosy."
