They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. "Varu was exactly in its name, an Atmosphere experience! From the drum ceremony arrival to the birthday dinner on the dock gazebo to the food and the service. Impeccable! I celebrated my birthday at Varu and absolutely loved the experience. Abby, Zune and the entire crew were phenomenal. I made new friendships here. "Très bel hôtel avec peu de chambres sur une île calme et préservée. La végétation est luxuriante et le récif est en très bon état. Le personnel est attentif et sympathique. Quelques points négatifs pourraient être améliorer : - les activités sont très chères. Une plongée sous marine coûte 120 USD avec l’équipement et les taxes. 1h de kayak coûte 44 USD. Même la location d’un masque et tuba est payante. - il y a un seul bar et il est occupé tous les soirs par une activité de groupe type quizz...

"The food at Baros is top notch. Breakfast was fantastic every day that I was there. I stayed in an overwater villa with great views. Snorkeling at the house reef gave way to views of wonderful underwater life. When I come back to Maldives, I will book this place without hesitation. As for the expedia option of pre-paying for dinner, don't. Just go a la cart and not feel obligated to eat at the same restaurant. It's priced such that you are getting the maximum priced items on the menu each...

"Everything was Perfect they really care for every detail. They have a great staff that cares for the garden so it looks always perfect. The food was so good in particular the Indian and Thai food corners. The desserts and the icecream was also amazing"
