"Wonderful stay at this location , Tom was truly an excellent host and has a perfect home for our annual trip to the island. the home had everything we needed to accommodate a larger group size and plenty of space for us to organize our day field trips. The hot tub was certainly most welcome after long days along with the patio and propane fire place. Tom really cares about the wellbeing of his guests and goes above and beyond to provide a good experience. hands down the best trip ever...

"Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, yet close to amenities, Bigfoot's Rest was bright, clean and modern. The host uses locally sourced and environmentally friendly products. We had no issues with the check-in process. Communication with the host was handled quickly and efficiently. We'd definitely book it again if we're in Courtenay."

"Amazing property, me and my girlfriend loved every minute there. Nice little walk to lund village with everything you could need, we got the sea taxi over to savory island for as little as $56 for 2 adults round trip. Its a must try for those seeking Beautiful beaches. Adam the owner was lightning quick with any questions we had wich made the experience very pleasant. "This place’s view was stunning. The cabin is exactly as pictured and cozy. The most important factors for us were that it was dog friendly and they had an amazing restaurant on site which was handy because there isn’t much around in terms of dining. This place is worth the drive and the hosts who live on site were accommodating but also gave you space. I would recommend this place to anyone going to the Powell river area"
