"Communication was excellent. Nice, quiet location. You have to fill the tub yourself on arrival which takes some time, but instructions were clear and easy. A great spot!"

"It’s a beautiful house in a new neighborhood. The location was beautiful, right on the fjord, only 10 minutes from downtown Akureyri. We cooked one night, pretty well stocked kitchen, could use a few potholders. We couldn’t figure out the cold plunge, but the hot tub and sauna were great. Views from the hot tub are amazing. Our only complaint was there were a lot of flies, no screens on windows, and it’s prime fly season apparently. No kidding, we killed more than 100 in 2 days. A fly...

"The house was ideally located in town and well-equipped with all that we needed for our stay. While it was unclear whether the property had a hot tub as listed, my daughter enjoyed her time digging out enough snow to open the door to the balcony. Very pleased with the ease of check in, value for the money, location, and comfort of the Painter's House."
