"The apartment certainly met our needs as we were in town for a few days exploring prior to a cruise. Location was fantastic and in a very safe building. It was a great space and very clean. We did experience some issues with getting the key as apparently the prior people did not return it……Maggie was quick to respond and it was resolved asap. I would definitely stay here again if in the area and highly recommend "

"We had an excellent stay! Photos don’t do the unit justice. Lots of light for a basement suite and very spacious. Location was great and felt like you were right in the community. Lots of little extra touches from the hosts as well"

"A very good place to rest ones bones. Not a suite as much as a bedroom and ensuite bathroom. We had friends to visit on the island and spend time with so used it for that purpose. Well appointed and serviced. Even though fairly close to retail Bowen, for us oldies car transport was very helpful."

"The location and security for this property is the biggest selling point! It is not even a 1/2 block to the waterbus taxi to explore a large portion of Vancouver and you can take a nice beach path walk to Stanley Park. I loved this location! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had most of what you need, and the living space is adequate for our on-the-go expectations. The only drawback is no A/C. "Was super fortunate to find this accommodation so close to everything. The Host is very kind, patient and accommodating. Given the lower level suite is pet friendly, which is an additional bonus, I do understand the lack of a clean floor, however, the state of the kitchen counter (left over food bits) was a bit of a shock, as were the dangling cobwebs inside the cupboards. There is a small toaster oven in the basement suite only. Don’t bring a casserole for dinner. Lesson learned. The bathroom...

"This is a spectacular property and place to stay with breathtaking views, your own private balcony and serene nature landscape with access to the beach. The property is also within minutes drive or walkable to the marina area where there are fantastic restaurants and a charming small town to enjoy. "Nice and spacious room, good location, easy walk into downtown Vancouver and Stanley park. Only downside and I'm not sure if its the hotel or Expedia using a 3rd party site when you book but it advertises a kitchen is included but upon check in you have to pay an extra 25 dollars if you want to be able to use the oven."

"Lower level apartment is clean and new. Neighborhood has good access to UBC, restaurants and beaches. Quiet area with easy street parking. Apartment could benefit from more comfy seating and kitchen supplies."

"The house was comfortable and quiet and in a great location for our needs - in walking distance to our daughter, groceries, restaurants, etc. easy commute by car or bus to downtown, UBC and other areas in the city. We enjoyed using the kitchen facilities to host our daughter’s family for their 2 year old’s birthday dinner. The weather was beautiful over the weekend and we enjoyed sitting in the 2 Adirondack chairs on the sunny deck to read and to watch the children play. It would have been nice...

"We had an amazing stay at this downtown loft! The location couldn’t have been more perfect—just a short and easy walk to BC Place, which was super convenient for the event we were attending. The views from the loft were beautiful, and the rooftop patio was a definite highlight—such a great spot to relax and hang out. "We had the pleasure of staying at Babjamas. Such a wonderful spot. So many places to sit and enjoy the water, eagles, harbor seals, deer and of course the local kitty. This spot had everything we needed to have a terrific time. We will definitely be back. Thank you Bev and Bill"
