"The outside is in the process of being renovated, but inside was just newly renovated & comfortable. Loft 1 is situated by being tucked away in back away from the crowds & noise of Downtown Alexandria Bay & you can see the St. Lawrence river from the porch and if you walk just a little bit, you can sit on chairs by the river. The location was minutes away from Captain Thompson’s boat tours, restaurants & stores. No need to drive. Barbara NJ "

"The place was great! Location is was excellent, great sunrises and sunsets. Yes there's a marina bar downstairs, no it wasn't a problem, it was closed up by 8:30 each night and it was never rowdy. Whitney is a great host! There are definitely somethings that need a little work, but it wasn't a problem. One of the showers was out while we were there, but the other worked fine. "The house was large and comfortable for our group of 8 adults and 1 toddler. The deck had a great view of the water and all the boats/ships coming and going. The kitchen was well stocked minus a couple things (no cheese grater/shredder or scissors) and we loved the 2 dishwashers which made cleanup so much easier! There were a lot of various oils and spices in the cabinets but definitely need to bring your own foil and cling wrap/plastic containers for leftovers.The host Richard was great and...

"Check in was a breeze. Our host George was easy to reach and communicate with. The house is roomy and comfortable. It is close to shops and Uncle Sam's boat tours in Alexandria Bay. The house is off a quiet, picturesque road making it a nice place to get away and relax. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely rent out the house again "
