"Lovely stay had by all. Domes were spacious and well equipped with comfy beds and all kids cons. Air con was brilliant! Shared outdoor kitchen had lots of space and was under cover and close to the domes. The pool was deep (circa 145cms and had a natural Tarzan swing which the kids loved. We had a great suggestion for a local tour from the manager and the cafe and the Italian themed shop was very convenient. Playa Órganos was just was a 5 min walk with a view to Tortuga. "This was an awesome property. I went with my spouse and adult children(17-22) and their friends. Total of 8 people. The house was very clean and open. The pool was exceptional. The sunsets on the beach were beautiful. The best part was the caretakers(Arturo and Maribel). Arturo was up early to get the pool and backyard set up for us to enjoy for the day. Maribel cooked us an awesome dinner our last night there. They were so nice and helpful the entire time we were there. They almost felt like...

"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"We had such an amazing time here! In addition to the bioluminescence tour with Eddy (10 minute drive) and the beautiful Organos Beach (5 minute walk), we did a horseback tour at Curu Wildlife Refuge (30 minute drive) and rode the ferry (10 minute drive to terminal) back to Puntarenas when we were done. BUT the best part for us was that a troop of about 20 howler monkeys was in the area and, at one point, treated us to about an hour-long show foraging in the trees almost directly above our dome....

"This is an outstanding property, I'm glad to say it exceeded my expectations. Paquera CR isn't the tourist mecca, IE an all inclusive. If you want to enjoy CR with a local feel and experience this is a place for you. The owners were responsive to questions and w/recommendations sheet to go. We loved CURU and the wildlife refuge, great hiking trails, great beach.."

"Easy to get to. Very nice neighborhood. Clean and modern with individual A/C for each room. Suzanne met us in front of house and walked us through the operation and features of property. The 2 brochures they sent us ahead of time were very informational and useful. We stayed at 3 properties in various towns on this trip and this was the concensus favorite."

"Amazing place with lots of room and a beautiful beach. Would recommend. Just a few communication issues around checking in and internet instructions. If you have whatsapp text them in advance and it should be smoother with the language barrier."

"Never again. We had to leave 2 days early and try to find another place on high season for my party of 8 because of over booking. The service was just terrible. To bad, because the area was great. Dont rent from this place."

"The house was just what we needed. Mario our property care taker was great, very accomadating. Being able to speak the language will be helpful. "

"The property is a gorgeous, secluded area, walking distance to the ocean. From the house, we got to see many birds, butterflies, macaws, other birds and howling monkies. Leo (administrator) was so wonderful and helpful, he made our stay perfect. A special thanks to Leo."

"We had a great time at this home. Carlos was an amazing host who went above and beyond with friendly communication and problem solving. This home has a "to die for view," and beautiful interior. Make sure you have a 4x4 and preferably off-road tires. If you don't have a 4x4 do not book this place. Overall amazing stay!"

"Villa Mer is centrally located to many activities most within a 90 minute drive. Randal the owner is very responsive via What'sApp and the grounds keeper does his job without interfering with the guests enjoyment of the property. The pool man Alexander was beyond helpful even changing a tire for us when we discovered a flat. Having a washer onsite was good and hanging the clothes on the clothes lines was quite sufficient for drying, though for the off season a dryer would be needed.The pool is a...
