In addition to the bioluminescence tour with Eddy (10 minute drive) and the beautiful Organos Beach (5 minute walk), we did a horseback tour at Curu Wildlife Refuge (30 minute drive) and rode the ferry (10 minute drive to terminal) back to Puntarenas when we were done. BUT the best part for us was that a troop of about 20 howler monkeys was in the area and, at one point, treated us to about an hour-long show foraging in the trees almost directly above our dome....

"I cannot overstate how beautiful this Domo was in person; the view was absolutely spectacular, the bed was comfortable and we were delighted to have a warm shower.Carlos and his son Arón went above and beyond as hosts, providing a personal check-in, outstanding recommendations for local places to eat and activities, and were so kind as to help mail a package of something I forgot in the Domo.The beach was delightful with with local fishermen and places to get snacks. It was not touristy at all,...

"A-Mazing! The pictures do not do the view justice. So beautiful! That wasn't even the best part. We received the most thoughtful, attentive care. Every little detail was thought of, they waited up for us when we were late AND served us breakfast! We only stayed as a lay over on a long trip and really wished we could have stayed! Highly recommend "
