"Lady at check in was super friendly. Bed is comfy. Shower is great. Pillows need to be replaced. That is my only complaint. They don’t offer soaps and shampoos but to me that’s just a waste. I always bring my own. Towels were extremely nice for a hotel. Not super big but fluffy and clean. If they got new pillows this place would get five stars from me. I have stayed in a lot of high end hotels and this one is just as nice for a very reasonable price. "

"Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was very friendly. The hotel itself is not new but the room was very clean with updated furniture and floors. It is obvious the owners take care of it. I was only there for one night with an early morning appointment so can't say much about the surrounding area other than it was convenient to my appointment."

"Great place to relax and rest after day of being out around the eastern shore. Felt like home with the quiet rural setting and away from city noise. Loved hearing the toad and barking tree frogs in the babbling brook every night. Highly recommend for those who prefer peace and quiet in rural settings."

"Our family stayed for a week at this amazing secluded property. We have stayed at many rentals up and down the Eastern Shore as well as the Outer Banks and this was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in. The location was quiet and peaceful and the dock and screened in porch were where we spent most of our time. The screened in porch was a great spot to relax, eat meals, and play board games. The view was incredible and we launched our boat at the marina right down the street and had it...

"Peaceful, relaxing place with wonderful waterfront views. House is spacious and well-stocked, with a large fenced yard. We enjoyed catching fish and blue crabs right from the dock and kayaking on the river. Highly recommend. "
