"Great rooms,staff are very polite and friendly. Dislike, the breakfast could have been hotter but I've been assured that new warming plates are being ordered. Maybe the introduction of bacon....we left before, 7am to catch our flight.so missed out on breakfast, staff don't start until 7.30 am. No night porter /reception, for a 4 star boutique hotel not that professional."

"I can imagine this hotel is very luxurious 20 years ago but now probably need to renovate. Of course if it is renovated the price of the rooms will be much higher. For the price and the size and the location of the hotel I am very happy. Parking is free big plus."

"The staff kindly changed our room to one with a better view - overlooking the pool and scenery beyond. The location of the hotel is great - near bus stop and harbour waterfront with lots of restaurant options. The food at the Reef was very good. Staff was most helpful. Really enjoyed our 3 night stay!"

"This was our 3rd visit to the Pergola. Love the location away from the main road and the view from the hotel across to the church and Gozo in the background is amazing. We had breakfast included and the choice was excellent. The hotel is part of a group called G3 and we have eaten at several of their restaurants and the standard is also excellent. "I really liked staying here! The hotel was safe and clean, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved the access to the pool and private beach—for me, that was the highlight of the property. However, it felt a little noisy. The hotel is located in St. Julian’s, which is a party city, and you can hear noise across the bay. Also, the hotel is currently surrounded by construction as new properties and hotels are being built by it, so you could hear construction sounds too. Overall,...

"Everything about the hotel stay was perfect. It was my husband's birthday while we were there and they decorated the room with balloons and banners which was a lovely touch. The infinity pool was amazing. There is construction work going on at the moment but it didn't impact our holiday at all. The staff were so lovely and friendly. I will be definitely be going again."

"This hotel is truly exceptional, from the moment we checked in to (sadly) leaving, it was an absolutely perfect stay. Staff and owner were all gorgeous people - so helpful, friendly and chilled. Bed was super comfy, hotel itself is beautifully bohemian and traditionally Maltese and amenities were a bonus - loved the rooftop bar with its stunning views. "The room and property was very clean. I got club access which was beneficial. I got to use the lounge for drinks, relaxation and pre-dinner snacks. The breakfast buffet was complete and full of variety. The rooftop pool was lovely and I used it a few times. Walking distance to the main area of St Julian. Let’s stay here again."
