Welcome to the "kolkje" nature holiday farm!

A holiday with us means: Experience nature with all your senses - far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but right in the middle of one of the most diverse natural and cultural regions in the Netherlands!
Rest and relaxation on your own dock ... Hiking, biking, fishing, paddling, swimming, surfing or simply drifting by boat ... Day tours to the pearls of the Frisian Eleven Cities Route and the Wadden Islands ... enjoy a coffee or enjoy the beach life in the nearby Makkum .. .

Our "garden house" is a completely overhauled wooden house (chalet) with Scandinavian flair at the beginning of 2017: colors, furnishings, the compact layout as well as a beautiful view of the terrace, garden and the wide landscape provide a cozy atmosphere and guarantee you a relaxing vacation.

The garden house houses a kitchen on the ground floor with a kitchenette, dining table for 6 people and a cozy seating area for watching TV and with a view and access to the terrace and garden. The hallway with cloakroom leads to the bathroom (shower, toilet and sink) and two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds, one of which can be pulled out for another sleeping space.

On the private terrace you can sit, grill or read in a deck chair, fish, swim or go out on the water on the other side of the courtyard: the use of a fishing boat with an outboard motor and two kayaks is included in the price.
For canoe tours with several people, we recommend canoe rentals in the village and for bike tours, bike rentals in Makkum.

In the farmhouse there is also a freely accessible kitchen where our guests can use the washing machine, dryer and vacuum cleaner. We also have a small guest farm shop with products from our own production as well as regional and ecological origin.

Animal lovers can look forward to our sheep and lambs, chickens and wild ducks, swallows and huge flocks of wild geese that fly across the farm in spring and autumn.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder! Das Gartenhaus ist sehr hübsch und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Man hat eine eigene Terrasse mit Anschluss an einen riesigen, wunderschönen Garten, den man nutzen darf. Die Umgebung ist auch sehr schön und bietet alles, was man für einen gechillten Urlaub braucht: Viel wunderschöne Natur, Wasser zum Boot fahren und angeln, Strand, süße Städtchen mit vielen Shopping- und Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Darüber hinaus sind die Gastgeber supernett und entspannt.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Häuschen war sehr gemütlich und mit allem Wichtigen ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Uns hat die Lage am Wasser sehr gut gefallen und mit dem Motorboot sind wir öfters eine Runde gedreht. Zum Strand in Makkum sind es nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto, ins Centrum kann man gut zu Fuß gehen. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Wir hatten einen schönen Kurzurlaub in einer tollen Umgebung - mehr Naturgarten geht nicht. Sehr nette Vermieter, idyllische Unterkunft direkt am Wasser. Bio-Hofladen, Motorboot, Angeltips vom Vermieter...., Alles Top

Wir haben uns in dem gemütlichen Gartenhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung inmitten des wunderschönen Gartens ist zauberhaft. Direkt am Kanal gelegen kann man schöne Ausflüge mit dem Boot unternehmen. Das Ijselmeer ist ca. 3 km entfernt und gut zu erreichen. Der Strand hat uns sehr gut gefallen… das Örtchen Makkum sowieso! Wir kommen wieder!

This quiet back-water close to the town of Makkum makes an ideal base for chilling out and communing with nature. For the bird-lover the area teems with wildfowl. We heard a Bittern. We used the spacious accommodation as a base for cycling and were not disappointed. The hosts were kind and considerate. Home-produce was available from this small-holding.

Urlaub für Naturliebhaber mit direkter Anbindung ans Wasser und doch zentraler Lage und guter Erreichbarkeit von Makkum. Nette Gastgeber und die Nutzungsmöglichkeit des Angelbootes runden eine gelungene Auszeit ab.

Von der ersten Minute an haben wir uns wohl gefühlt im gemütlichen Gartenhaus. Wir wurden herzlich von Iris und Douwe empfangen. Das Frühstücksei dirkt vom Hof hat uns besonders geschmeckt. Der kleine Hofladen hat aber noch mehr Köstlichkeiten zu bieten. Ganz besonders gefallen hat uns die Bootsfahrt durch die Kanäle mit dem kleinen Boot, das gratis zur Verfügung steht. Ein herrlicher Ort, um erholsame Ferien zu verbringen.

Supernettes Ferienhaus auf schönen Bauernhof - Hühner und Schaafe inklusive. Uns hat es besonders gut gefallen, mit dem Motorbötchen über den Kanal zu tuckern. Nette Gastgeber!
