Nestled on a hillside with stunning views of the coast and ocean, as well as the majestic volcano Teide, this villa-apartment offers a luxurious and comfortable stay for your vacation on the island. With its spacious and elegant layout, private outdoor terrace, and proximity to the beach and town, it is the perfect home base for exploring the island and indulging in relaxation.

The two-bedroom apartment boasts a master bedroom with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom, as well as a second bedroom with two single beds and a separate bathroom. For those who love swimming in the ocean and hiking in the mountains, this is the ideal accommodation choice. With no pool on the property, you can immerse yourself in the natural wonders of the island instead.

Die Wohnung ist sehr ansprechend mit den großen Fenstern zur Terrasse und der wunderbare Blick bis zum Meer. Alles hat gestimmt, Sauberkeit, Ausstattung etc. Sehr bequeme und gute Matratzen.

Perfection!

My husband and I travelled to Tenerife to escape winter weather here at home. Although the weather on Tenerife let us down (a couple rainy days), AD San Marcos did not! These villas are in the perfect location and came with everything you need for a wonderful stay on Tenerife. The Bodega just downstairs included an assortment of local wines which allowed us to experience a special part of the unique culture of the island. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner, and you can tell he is truly passionate about what he is doing and sincerely cares about your experience at AD San Marcos. Elena the concierge was wonderful. Anything we needed, she provided. I would recommend these villas to anyone planning a trip to Tenerife!

Fantastic holiday

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in the north of Tenerife. We chose to stay in a wonderful AD San Marcos apartment and we would absolutely recommend the AD experience without any reservation. From start to finish, we felt like valued guests, rather than tourists. We were provided with a great emailed guidal, giving us information about services that were provided by AD, activities and events on the island, as well as insider tips about beaches, restaurants the owners enjoyed etc. We were warmly met by the owner, Kay, on arrival, who advised on a nearby restaurant for us to eat, showed us the bodega downstairs with local Canarian wines for us to purchase, (one bottle was provided free with a welcome basket of delicious fruit), and arranged for Carlos, the manager, to kindly pick up and deliver groceries for us the next morning. The apartment itself was spacious, containing everything we needed, with a terrific terrace showing wonderful views of the volcano on one side and San Marcos bay on the other. It was cleaned regularly to a high standard and Carlos was on hand for any queries about the apartment. We were pleasantly surprised that a concierge service was included in the package. Elena, our concierge, was wonderful in booking restaurants for us, arranging activities including sailing/whale watching, Mt Teide cable car, wine tour and a reflexology session. All of which, were amazing – apart from the cable car ride, which was cancelled due to windy conditions, but Elena notified us of this so that we didn’t have a wasted journey. Our hosts were amazing, gave us a really authentic experience of the island and we would happily return. It’s so tempting not to give this accommodation a great review so that we can keep this secret all to ourselves, but that wouldn’t be fair on our hosts. This was far more than an accommodation booking, more of an experience of being guests of people who loved their island and were happy to share some of it with those who visited with them and who genuinely wanted you to have a good time. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Gorgeous, huge apartment, wonderful hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this 2 BD/2 BA apartment--the apartment was huge, beautiful and beds comfortable and it had an amazing patio where we could all relax and enjoy the wonderful view. We were actually blown away when we walked in...for the price it is amazing. The managers were great and left us a very nice fruit basket and water (don't drink the tap water on the island it is extremely salty), and graciously let us check out late. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great--a bit cloudy and gray--but we thoroughly enjoyed hiking, seeing the volcano and the stars, and visiting the beach on the south side of the island.

Great stay in Icod!

My wife and I usually stay off the beaten path when we travel. So when I came across this property at Alberto Dorner, the pics and reviews made it a clear front runner in our choices. Although we weren't able to secure the pool property, the basic two bedroom we had was perfect! There's so much to experience all over Tenerife! The time we did spend in the room was beyond pleasant and comfortable. The views of Teide and the western coast towards Masca, the modernization of the property, the bed was Uber comfortable... Plenty of space, complementary wine and spirits, we're all welcomed benefits. We cooked also. The WiFi works well, although at times we had to reset the modem a couple times. Which just required a push of the button on top twice. Carlos was excellent in getting us settled in. He was always available when we needed him via WhatsApp. You will not disappointed staying here.

Fantastisches Wohnung!

Die Wohnung ist einfach nur schön, sehr gut ausgestattet, große Terrasse mit Blick zum Teide und zum Meer, allerdings auch zur Nachbarwohnung. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter vor und während der Reise war sehr gut, der Empfang herzlich ( mit Obstkorb, Wein und Wasser). Icod liegt schön am Hang, im grünen Teil Teneriffas und mit dem Auto ist die Insel von hier aus gut zu erkunden. Es war einfach alles wunderbar, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Lovely apartment with great views

Last minute break but discovered lovely, clean apartment with beautiful views on the coast and volcano. The local town of Garachico is lovely and provides an insight into local life on the island. Great location, close to the most amazing mountain walks and scenery, far from the busy beach resorts of Tenerife.

sehr schöner Urlaub auf Teneriffa

Wir hatten eine Ferienwohnung in Icod de los Vinos gebucht, diese war super ausgestattet, hatte eine tolle Terrasse mit traumhaften Meerblick. Der Manager Carlos ist auch vor Ort und kümmert sich auch um eventuelle Anliegen. Ich kann die Wohnung sowie die Nordwest Seite der Insel nur empfehlen, es ist lange nicht so überlaufen wie z.B. im Süden bei Los Christianos.

First Class

A fantastic, well laid out apartment with everything you need for a relaxed and stress free holiday in the sun. Spotlessly clean & nice to find a welcome basket of essentials after what felt like a long day travelling. Carlos was very friendly and accommodating - delayed flight meant we arrived later than initially advised but no problem. We'd recommend anyone to book this apartment, whether you just like to sit on a beach in the sun (San Marcos beach 5min drive) or a great base for exploring the island like we did, you won't be disappointed. Super choice of restaurants close by, El Mortero in Icod was fab but our favourite meal on our last night was at Garachico, a 10min drive along the coast - Canada de Garachico Espacio Gastronomico - if we had found it earlier in the week we'd have re-visited to sample other dishes from the menu! 2 points to note that will hopefully be helpful - ~ make sure you unwind the sun canopy over the balcony in the morning! ~ we found hot water took a fair while to arrive in the shower & didn't last long enough for 2 people to shower consecutively. We found Tenerife's road signage not to be the best - on the main arterial roads (e.g TF5) the signs are literally metres from exit slip road so don't give you time to get into the inside lane - we sailed straight past a few during our week out & about exploring.
