"Breakfast at the white hart was excellent with a good choice, service was also excellent. Good choice of ales at the bar with the food being exceptional, best in Hawes. Rooms lovely and roomy with plenty of hot drink choices also bottles of water. Bathroom very clean with good shower. In a nutshell we couldn't have got better in Hawes."

"Our welcome when we arrived was excellent. Liz was very helpful telling us sbout breakfast etc. Our room no 5 was quite spacious and had a nice view of the hillside of the dale. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Glenn was very efficient and knowledgeable about the area and made you feel relaxed with his banter. The en suite was a tad small but we managed ok. Will return and stay with them again at some point if we are visiting the area."

"The suite was beautiful, very clean and the decor was stunning. The owners were very helpful with parking information as our vehicle wouldn’t fit in the car parking space provided (travelling in campervan). Suite was less than 1 mins walk from the centre. "

"Spotlessly clean room, staff very friendly and willing to help - recognised I need to use 2 sticks & immediately helped me with luggage. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast next door at Cocketts. Good banter at bar with landlord first evening. Slight downsides - old furniture, poorly fitting drawers, no wardrobe (though I didn't need one)"

"We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. "The staff were attentive to our needs. We ate there on the second night of our stay. They food was lovely and hot when served. We did not wait for too long from ordering to getting our food. There were limitations on what we could have both on the food and drink side due to delivery issues. My and I were are aware that there was music being played when we went to bed, but I did not really interfere with us getting to sleep. Eat plugs were provided which my wife used. "Accommodation was average but the cleanliness let it down. The bedding was clean and fresh but we had old tea spashes on the unit and also someone's old toilet usage was still stick to the pan. "Wasn't the nicest thing to have to clean when I've paid to stay at a hotel" overall would I stay again. Yes I probably would as it may have been a one off... Some of the furniture and decor had seen better days too "
