"We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on the hill! It was quiet and had a view of the lake. The neighbors were all friendly and it felt like a safe area. Every night, we enjoyed the hot tub and the cabin was stocked with the amenities needed for a great vacation.
The only drawbacks were the bugs- gnats all over downstairs and bees around the porch and fire pit. My husband was not a fan of the steep, narrow drive because it was hard to maneuver our bass boat to park it every night.

"Overall we had a good stay and the owners are really great people! Pet friendly and nice location to access the South Sauty boat ramp.The cottage worked out for us and what we needed, but just wanted to share a few things so others can prepare: There weren't any cleaning products in the house for daily use (outside of dawn dish soap) so we bought our own to use. Not really an issue, but wanted to call it out.There aren't a lot of options for kitchen utencils. We cooked on the charcoal grill each...

"Great location and the host was quick to let me know all arrival/departure details. My wife and I are very fond of the Guntersville area. For a quick and inexpensive get away, this was the perfect little cottage. The only draw back for us was that I am an early riser, and my wife likes to sleep late. The floors in the kitchen are very squeaky and I woke her both mornings walking around. The cottage could use a little freshening up on paint, but we understood that it probably has high volume...
