The pool causes the first floor to be musty/moldy. My asthma was inflamed by this. The driveway up is very steep and rocky, not accessible with lower clearance vehicles. There were spiders, and cobwrbs all over. Seems like it has not been cleaned in a while. The beds are very uncomfortable, there were mouse droppings on the stove, and the shower was very small. I wish i had read the reviews more before i rented.

Nice secluded property

This property is spacious and secluded. Host was very responsive and helpful. Check in was very easy. ‘Overlook Drive’ is uphill and unpaved, but the place was easy to find. A lot of the essentials were not provided (e.g., sheets, towels, toilet paper, and shampoo), so make sure you ask before you go. I wish the place was cleaner. The kitchen, bathrooms, and all the spider webs everywhere showed that the place was not properly cleaned before our arrival. For people with mobility challenges, note that the two sets of stairs inside the place are very steep.We enjoyed our stay overall.

Cabin was very dirty

The cabin was very dirty when we arrived. The stove and every surface near it were covered in grease. There were rat dropping throughout the cabin.The floor with two bedrooms had a musty smell to it. Overall the property just looks like it has not been maintained well. Reached out to owner regarding these concerns and they just ignored my message.

Review

We really enjoyed our stay and the cabin. However, the cabin was dirty. The dining room table needed to be wiped down, and there was food underneath the beds in the loft, popcorn, etc. This definitely brought the rodents! Three of the lights were out in the living room ceiling, and there was no light on the upstairs porch. Please note also, that there is water seeping into the first floor. The bottom of the stairs was soaked with water coming up from the ground. The rugs on the first floor bedrooms were also wet creating one of the luggages to get wet that was on the floor. Not sure if it's from the pool or seeping up from the ground underneath.

Winter getaway

My family and I had a great time at this cabin. It was a great experience the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool. Carrie is a great host and communication was above and beyond we will definitely be coming back again !!!

Perfect weekend ski stay

Absolutely loved our time here and will be back! The weather was super cold and we were cozy and warm inside. The fireplace was great. The kitchen had what we needed. My husband and son really enjoyed the pool and the host was very attentive. Great location too!

Great Relaxy Weekend

We really enjoyed the property and the cabin. So peaceful. Had a nice fire inside and outside, grilled and hung out in the pool. After a long day it was great to fall into super comfy beds. Tx Carrie for your attentiveness

Family weekend

We had an amazing time. The property was awesome cabin was a real log cabin, which was great plenty of room and clean. The pool was an added bonus and everyone enjoyed it even my dog would highly recommend and will definitely book again.

Hunter Mountain Family Vacation

Really Fun and Accomadating

Really fun stay and experience overall. We ran into a few issues with the property but the owner touched base with us in a timely, concerned, and proactive manner. Wonderful cabin in the woods!

This was a perfect weekend getaway for us and our teenagers. We grilled out and had a campfire both nights. We loved the log cabin, and the entire area is absolutely stunning every season of the year! Carrie made us feel welcome and the process easy.

What a lovely place! The pool was perfect and Carrie was one of the best owner's I have ever dealt with and we have renting from VRBO for the past 19 years!!! Highly recommend this property.

Cozy Ski Chalet

We had a great time at this property - it’s location to Hunter Mountain was perfect for our ski weekend. Carrie is a phenomenal and helpful host. She was quick to answer every question and extremely easy to talk to over Vrbo. The atmosphere is very cozy and the pool adds a really fun aspect. Thanks again, Carrie!

We had an amazing weekend. The area is beautiful. The cabin was everything we hoped it would be.

Checking in was a breeze. The cabin is wonderful along with the property it sits on. We spent hours playing in the creek that is a stones throw from the cabin. We will definitely rebook for next year.

Perfect family vacation!

This cabin exceeded expectations! Beautiful, clean cabin in the perfect location. We were on a family snowboarding vacation and were very close to Hunter Mountain. Check in was effortless and we found the cabin very clean and the owner was very responsive throughout the whole process. The indoor pool was a great bonus! Would definitely recommend and will definitely return!
