"So i suppose the price for a night isnt bad, but when youre expecting a whole apartment aslisted and there are others there, its not so great. Stood outside door for 20mins. Not easy to get key via access code( no email before) 2 towels for 3 people, 1 was damp, 1 had a brown 'stain' on it. Bedding old and worn. Headboards dubiously stained!!!!"

"Ideal location for Chatsworth and the Peaks and Dales. Have stayed here many times, and will stay again. Jane is a responsive host."

"Chime Cottage was absolutely charming! It had everything we needed—cozy, cute, and perfectly functional. The space was thoughtfully designed and felt like a true home away from home. We especially appreciated the comfy bed, the lovely bath to relax in after long days of hiking, and the cozy wood burner that made the evenings extra special.We walked into Bradwell from Hope Station—about 2 miles—so a bit of a walk, but totally doable and a great way to soak in the scenery. "The host never got in touch with us. We was out hiking in the Peak District and was on edge as the host wasn’t replying to us. Calling kept going to voicemail. We raised this issue with customer support however they couldn’t get in touch either so they had to cancel our booking and refund us. So we had to drive home after waiting outside of the property and spend even more money on fuel also. Absolutely shocking. Hopefully this host is removed from the site for wasting our time. "We had spotted this cottage on previous walks on visits to the area and wanted to try it. Very well appointed and comfortable cottage in a lovely area. We will definitely come again. One minor suggestion would be that property gets a larger frying pan as the one provided is quite small (or you could take one along with you!) "

"What a lovely cottage. Very well furnished and equipped, in a lovely location. The cottage is even nicer than the photos suggest. However, if you ha e young children ( our grandchildren are ages 8, 5, 4 and 3), the neighbour is likely to complain. We received a message from the owner, with a complaint about the children running around and being noisy. Isn't that what children do when they are excited to be on holiday? The cottage does have floorboards which are quite noisy, but to expect them...

"Receptionist rudeness -unpleasant jokes. The apartment look lake it haven’t been cleaned. We had to wait 2 hours before we have been offered an other apartment. "

"We stayed here for a halfterm trip to Alton towers due to it being only 15 mins away. Beautiful cottage, beautiful views. Lots of sheep. Only downfall was no phone signal but wifi provided and as we were only really there morning and evening it didnt really matter. Was nice to have a break from it all and to sit and chill. "
