"This little slice of paradise came exactly when we needed it. 100 stars. Incredible. Clean, cozy, perfect location, amazing mountain view, and friendly cows. The extra fans, drying rack, snacks... It was all perfect. Could not recommend enough."

"Beds were super comfy, kitchen is pretty well equipped and the bathrooms are lovely. There was, however, some things overlooked in regards to cleaning. Outdoor table was very dirty, much of the livingroom was dusty and there was no bin bag in the ensuite bathroom. Some.of the cutlery was dirty and there was an ornamental/fruit(?) bowl with mold in it. The fridge and freezer had a lot of old food left, much of which was expired, so that was a shame. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Just a few things...

"This place was amazing. We loved the view of the volcano and the cleanliness of the accommodations. The host was spectacular. We needed to wash some of our clothes and the host offered to wash them for us. I would definitely recommend this place and wished we could’ve stayed longer. "

"The Butchers shop was a great place to stay to see and do lots on the Forgotten Highway. Close to the famous pub, it was clean cosy and very comfortable. Great place to stay!"

"I don’t think I could have found a nicer place to stay. I was looking for an ‘ away from city’ stay and this ticked all the boxes. Owners are warm and welcoming and incredibly helpful. They live upstairs but interact only if and when you want them to. Nothing is too much trouble. I fed the deer, sheep chickens and quails so if you are an animal person, this is utopia. "We can’t say enough good things about our stay. The apartment was immaculate and very well outfitted with everything we needed. The farm location meant quiet, peaceful and relaxing evenings. Mel was a superb host who provided great information and support suggestions with regard to what to see, do and where to eat. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!"
