"Beautifully clean cottage in an idyllic setting. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, which was very much appreciated for a chilly weekend, as were the fresh milk and delicious biscuits. Fantastic walks all over, every one of which our dogs loved.The cottage had everything we needed. "The property was very comfortable and in a fantastic location for walking. It stayed cool during the very hot weather. The only problem was that we couldn’t get the car charger to work and this was one of our reasons for booking the property. There were no instructions for it."

"Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 "

"We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre."

"A very quiet location in a rural area, ideal position for visiting towns in the area such as Hawes, Leyburn etc. The cottage overlooks fields and stables in the distance, there is a lot of wildlife, rabbits ,squirrels, to see along with the owners ducks, chickens and two cheeky dachshunds.We found the best Coop for supplies was to be found at Masham not far away with easy parking."
