"This was our second stay at the Secret Shack and we can’t say enough good things. Chris is an amazing host and everything was better than expected. Many upgrades since our last stay including new furniture, appliances, and a gas fireplace were fantastic. The view is amazing and so cool to wake up to in the master bedroom. Plenty of towels and the bed linens are super comfortable. The hot tub is a nice touch as many smaller properties lack this. We’d give more stars if we could and would love to...

"The booking and check in process was seamless, there was great communication between owner and us. The house was perfectly located and was very secluded which we loved. The inner decor was quaint and appropriate for this house. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious. We loved the views and enjoyed grilling on the deck. We used the hot tub which was really nice after a long day of walking. I would highly recommend this unique round home."

"Wonderful cabin. We appreciated the view off the balcony and the large windows especially when a thunderstorm came through. Very roomy with a large common area. Had all the utensils needed for cooking a few meals. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you."

"This place has the most amazing views! We just got back from a 3-night stay and are preparing to book it again for next year. So many things to see and do in Blowing Rock/Boone/Linville. Just an amazing part of the state. Josh is very thorough and informative. Our trip went off without a hitch!"

"Great place to stay. Place was clean. Definitely off the beaten path but well worth it if you are wanting to get away. Loved being on the creek and having a fire in the pit outside every night. Hot Tub was nice to get in after hiking all day. If i had to critique one thing. I would say to update your information on dog fee, and trash. We were a little confused about what we read online vs what was at the cabin. Great time. Will return next year."

"A great experience from start to finish. Home is beautiful. Just as described on the website. Very clean. The movie theatre was fantastic. We all gathered (13) in the theatre 3 of the 4 nights.
