Beautiful new 2 bedroom, 1 bath Cottage with full modern kitchen and appliances in primo Hubbards Nova Scotia location. Park the car after provisioning your cottage and you may never use it again till you leave.

Hubbards was home to many scenes in the hit TV show, Haven, the Stephen King supernatural drama that was filmed on Nova Scotia's south shore

BEACH?? YES, white sand beach ,backed by rolling sand dunes with swim raft 50 yards offshore just 3 minutes by FLIP FLOP from your front porch. We have another 7 beaches within 15 minutes, maybe one a day for your stay. GO to MAP/LOCATION at bottom of page, see Google Maps, click Satellite and check out two gorgeous beachs, Hubbards and Queensland beach that are minutes away by flip flop.

POOL??, Heated Salt Water Pool 20 seconds from your porch

DOCK?? Complete with Gazebo, SW exposure to enjoy a coffee/tea in your Adirondack chairs to either start your day or a cocktail/wine to end your day and watch one of those gorgeous summer sunsets, 20 seconds from your porch.

FOOD?? Restaurant/lounge 120 meters away. Shore Club offering classic Nova Scotia Lobster Dinners 300 meters away. Come Saturday Night Shore Club transforms into one of the last remaining Dance Hall Live Entertainment Venues around. Been going since 1946

FARMERS MARKET?? the freshest local produce, fruit, meat, bread, dairy available on Nova Scotia's south shore, along with local wine, spirits and crafts , custom jewelry etc. happens every Saturday 7:AM to noon. Its a 3-4 minute drive, or you can take your PADDLE BOARD/KAYAK across the cove from the wharf and then walk for another 3 minutes to the market.

GOLF?? 10 minutes from porch to CLUB HOUSE, by car, not FLIP FLOP for family friendly 9 hole course. Add on other 10 minutes and you can be on a world class ocean front golf course, 10 hours by KAYAK 😎😎

What else?? Fishing, TROUT, BASS, STRIPPED BASS, MACKEREL, COD, SHARK , if you put your big boy pants on BLUE FIN TUNA. Its all here

Biking, lots of trails, back roads and rentals if you need to rent

Sight seeing,photography, have you ever hear of a little fishing village called PEGGY'S COVE? Check it out, you can see it from Hubbards beach and drive there in 30 minutes.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES! We got one, its called LUNENBURG. Think fishing, ship building and the movie Perfect Storm. Many great restaurants, museums, ships, E.g. THE BLUENOSE, architecture , golf, shopping. Its a 45 minute drive or 12 hours by Kayak

TRANSPORTATION: 45 minutes to Halifax International ( Stanfield International) YHZ Airport. Two hours to international ferry to USA in Yarmouth NS.

Absolutely amazing!! Already booking for next year! Honestly, what is not to love. Great location, great beach, great people, great food. Just arrive, hide your car keys and enjoy the best time you can imagine.

Great location if you are attending a concert at the Shore Club!

Beautiful cottage with everything you need for an awesome vaca! Close to the Shore Club and Tuna Blue. All within easy walking distance of both venues. Beautifully kept grounds. We will be back!

Good location...close to sites Unforeseen health issues kept us away for first week...owner rented 3days to someone else at our location and did not return our money for those day's...

Location was fantastic, cottage was cute but not very clean.

Dirty dishes under bed with dust bunnies, frying pan filthy, cupboards were dirty, floor was unclean, no hair dryer, bed sheets didn’t fit the sofa bed. Contact name and phone number was wrong. It was a little disappointing for the price/ night. By far the worse property rental I have ever had☹️

Clean and comfortable

Nice cottage and pleasant surroundings. Great surrounding amenities such as restaurants, gas station, pharmacy, etc. But, a bit further from Halifax than we anticipated. If not needing or wanting the city visits, it a very acceptable place to stay.

Great spot to just chill and walk to restaurants

We were really impressed. Cottage was so clean. Only thing would would have been nice was a bigger BBQ but overall extremely happy.

Charming

My husband, parents and I stayed at the Rose Cottage and found it to be just charming and a perfect location between Halifax and Lunenburg. So quiet and peaceful and as advertised. Had we had just a few extra days it would have been perfect, so much to see in the area. Thanks to Tim for the extra accommodations! Will certainly return here if we get to the area again!

Simple from booking to getting into the unit. We arrived on a cold February day and the cottage was so warm and toasty which made it feel extra cozy. It was clean and had everything we needed!

Would absolutely book this cottage again!

The cottage and property was perfect. What a great place to relax at the end of our 2 wk east coast road trip. A half hour after we arrived, we knew we wanted to extend our time here and fortunately the cottage was available for an extra night. Great location for day trips to peggy’s Cove, Halifax and Lunenburg. Beautiful place to relax after a day of touring. You Must go to the shore club for their lobster supper which is a 5 minute walk up the road.

This cottage is beautifully located by the waterside. Kitchen is well stocked and everything you would need is found in this cottage. Comfortable, cozy and relaxing!

Perfect for 4!

Enjoyed staying at Rose Cottage. The location was great and the cottage very comfortable. The only disappointment was that I thought there would be a washer and dryer in the house. You had to go to another building and use a coin operated unit which was just not convenient for us to do. Other than that, it was great. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Lovely cottage

The cottage is a good size and nice location. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to take advantage of the bay and proximity to water with our 2 night stay. Also, be warned if Google Maps tries to direct you via Old Rock Road off 103 to get there. It was particularly challenging in the dark!

A little piece of Heaven

Absolutely loved this cottage. It exceeded our expectations. The location, view were excellent. Everything was in working order and very comfortable. The decor was bright and cheerful. Great area in Hubbards for touring many south shore areas and restaurants. Nice having access to the pool and beach. You can also fish off the dock. Shore club offers a lobster supper for reasonable price and is just up the street. If it was for sale I would want to buy it. Didn't want to leave. Will definitely be making a return visit. I miss it already. We visited Aug27-30 2018
