We had an enjoyable time at the Amari. All of the staff as welcoming and pleasant throughout our stay. Room was always clean. The breakfast options for the buffet were substantial. Good options for Western food.
The pool is approximately 50 metres and if you want to do laps it great. You can get a workout in. Plenty of areas for lounging in the pool or for kids to play. Note that it’s fairly deep for children in most of it. There are two walk in ramps where a lot of kids were playing. Fitness room was good with about 4 different cardio machines, free weights and weight machines.
I had a burger at the bar..it was excellent.
Very quiet at nigh.
Reasons for deducting a star : at first we were missing a reading lamp/ light on one side of the bed. When I addressed it, one arrived in the room. I would have thought housekeeping would notice those things. Also, the lights in the room were finicky. We had to turn them off with the master switch. It must be on a timer as in the middle of the night all of the lights and the tv turned on. This happened every night we were there ( 3).
Minor omission by housekeeping as well;tissue box empty and not refilled.
All in all a good trip.
