"Couldn't fault it in anyway, very well laid out with everything you would need, really comfortable & cosy. We were staying in Daisy Cottage, Daisy the Cow was the theme throughout which made our stay even more delightful. Thank you Phil & Linda Woods for a wonderful holiday."

"We had a lovely stay in this house.
I'd read reviews that criticised the cleanliness of it, and I wonder why some people like to moan. (To get good cleaners in the Lake District is not the easiest thing.)
We liked the house and garden. It was good that the owner had left everything we might need, washing up liquid, paper towels, numerous toilet rolls (of good quality), as well as cooking equipment etc.
My son and I had fun lighting the log burner stove with the wood provided.

"We had a fantastic time at Stag Cottage despite landing in the middle of Storm Dennis. Helen, her Mum & Alan the caretaker were so helpful to us & went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
The cottage is so cosy & done out to a really high standard with everything you could need. The area is stunning, so close to the Lakes and the mountain views give a sense of peace & tranquility. If only life was like that more often!"

"Sheepfold Barn was the perfect location for my weekend with friends! It's rural location gave us the peace we all wanted and privacy to use the hot tub without concerns about people looking. It is located at the end of farm track but despite the recent wet weather it wasn't too muddy and was easy to navigate. It's interiors are to die for and the house is well stocked with everything you could need, we all came away wishing we could live there full time! Only issue was the heating wasn't working...
