Relaxing, Cozy Cottage on the Lake with kayaks - 2 Guest Maximum

If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is the place for you. This cozy home is 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms with breathtaking views of the main channel on Lake Catherine. Open floor plan has grand views from the kitchen and living areas. The large back deck allows you to enjoy the abundant nature this quiet home has to offer and is a bird watcher’s paradise. The deck is equipped with patio furniture, table and charcoal grill.
This property has swimming, fishing and boating on the calm waters of Lake Catherine. There is a 36' x 6' pier with boat bumpers, tie up hooks and a swim ladder. Relax on our attached 26' x 12' floating dock with Adirondack chairs and Umbrella. So bring your boat and water toys.
The first bedroom has a king size bed with half bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with window looking out at the lake. Both bedrooms have a wall mounted flat screen TVs, ceiling fans and USB charging stations. The living areas are furnished with comfortable seating and a large 50-inch TV. All TVs are equipped with Roku, Hulu, 70 channels of live TV including all major networks and ESPN channels plus a movie library. The Home is equipped with high speed WIFI Internet.
Kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator/ water and ice dispenser, microwave, stove / oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and blender and is fully stocked with dishes, cook wear and utensils. We have an outdoor, gas grill on the patio so you can cook while enjoying the view of the lake. You can come for a vacation and never leave this property!
Want to see the sights, we are just 15 minutes to just about anywhere in Hot Springs, Historic Downtown Hot Springs National Park, South Central Avenue Business and Restaurant Areas or Beautiful Garvan Woodland Gardens.
THIS HOME IS LIMITED TO 2 GUEST AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN, but is perfect for a couple to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. Parties, Events or gathering of any kind is NOT permitted.
WINTER LAKE DRAW DOWN, From November 1 through March 10th, Lake management typically lowers Lake Catherine and Lake Hamilton from 3-5 feet. This will expose the lake bed in shallow areas around the property and the dock will have little water below it if any.
The Property has 2 exterior security cameras mounted on the eave by the garage. The camera's coverage is the front of the house and driveway.

We surprised my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary. The hosts were so accommodating and kind. They helped us pull off the surprise! My parents loved their stay...they said it was so relaxing and beautiful. They were surprised by the bottle of wine and note. It was such a personal touch, and they were so touched by their generosity and attention to detail. Thank you so much for sharing your property!

The cottage was clean and bright. We loved the big windows looking out over the water! It was a short getaway for us and was exactly what we needed! Beautiful fall foliage, peaceful and relaxing. Short distance to Hot Springs where we went for a scooter ride on the Hot Springs Creek Greenway trail. :) followed by lunch at Deluca's. Then we returned for a kayak ride on the calm waters and some fishing off the dock. The Adirondack chairs were perfect for just hanging out and relaxing on the water. The furniture in the house is super comfy including the bed. Best night's sleep in a while! Julie and Roger were very responsive and available for whatever we needed. Thank you for the perfect respite!

The cottage was just what we were looking for. Beautiful decor and furnishings inside, clean, comfortable sitting and beds. Spectacular view from inside the house or deck. Country feel but no more than about 20 minutes from everywhere. Great catfish at the end on our street. Most of the places we had chosen to eat in were crowded and my husband can’t stand very long so we passed them up. But, we found good food all around. There is a detailed restaurant list in the cottage. Next visit we will be better prepared. Loved the city. So much history. Gave our cottage a 100%. Met our host and she was delightful.

This property is absolutely beautiful! The view from the dock and even from the den inside the home is stunning — the perfect backdrop for a peaceful escape. We loved relaxing on the spacious deck, taking in the scenery, and enjoying the quiet surroundings. It’s an ideal spot for a couples’ getaway — comfortable, private, and incredibly relaxing. Always peaceful

The property was immaculate and peaceful to perfection as always. 2nd visit and will be a constant for us for our little getaways. Although we had to cut our trip short for a family emergency-our getaway was what we needed—— hope to get back soon. Love love love Lake Catherine.

Absolutely Beautiful!

My husband and I loved this house! The view of the lake from the living area was spectacular and so relaxing. We sat outside on the huge deck daily with our morning coffee or the floating deck in the evenings with a glass of wine. The beds were very comfortable and allowed for a good nights sleep. Communication with Julie and Roger was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Getaway

It is the perfect location for a relaxing and quiet stay. We were totally able to decompress. The view was the same beautiful view whether on the deck or in the living areas. Would definitely book again!!!

Birthday Trip

Stay was phenomenal. Nice neighborhood, quiet street, home was very well kept and everything was spotless. Amazing view in every area of the home. The floating dock was so peaceful for an evening to relax. We loved watching the birds out of the kitchen wondow in the morning. Cant forget all the beautiful plants and "Cottage Kitty" was a bonus. Host were very accommodating and repsonse time was quick. Easy access as we had a late arrival, lights were on and home was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend a stay here. I know we will be back.

Quiet and peaceful retreat

On a deadend road, with no to zero traffic. The birds and the water makes a special get-a-way from everything. The view of the waterfront, the outdoor space and the living space make a great combination. Thank you for letting us stay here.
