"This was a wonderful trip with the family. The tent was such a fun experience. Good to get away from technology but was still able to access it if needed in the lobby. Breakfast burritos and s’mores ever night were something to look forward to. Close to the falls and sand dunes. Having bathrooms and showers were a bonus. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but still overall a great time. Would definitely go back and stay here again. "

"Unique and comfy home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family of 6. Hosts were easy to work with and responsive for questions! Would definitely stay again. "

We were looking for something out of the norm and with some character, the straw bale house fit the bill.We would have enjoyed having a comfortable area to grill and enjoy the outdoors and the view (such as a deck), other than that we very much enjoyed exploring the area and would return again ."

"The property is lovely and in a beautiful remote feeling location. The kitchen is well supplied and house was as described in the listing. It's very family friendly and has cute decor. We had a beautiful view of the stars when the sky was clear, though the mosquitoes did limit how much time we wanted to spend enjoying the outdoor features of the property. It's well located for family activities, we drove an hour and visited the sand dunes, Zapata Falls, and Colorado Gators all in the same...

"The Outdoor Living Spaces are superb with a covered patio, open patio, deck and hot tub. It is so quiet and so dark at night the stars just pop out like crazy. A Slice of Heaven on earth. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need. The beds and linens were so comfortable. We have never stayed at a VRBO that is so well supplied. The views are magnificent from every window. Everything about the house is first class!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was equipped with everything we needed, very spacious, clean and peaceful. We loved watching the stunning sunrise views over the mountains from the deck, stargazing from the swings, and exploring Great Sand Dunes NP, which was conveniently close by (less than 30 min drive). Kristen was very welcoming and responsive. Thanks for an awesome stay; we’d definitely come back!"

"Great stay. Well appointed and the parking was awesome. Having the garage available was something we never get in vacation rentals. Would definitely stay again."

"My mom and I had a lovely stay here in early July (in addition to the cozy bedroom, the big couch is good for sleeping on). Super pleasant walk into town. Great kitchen, stocked with coffee and tea - no microwave, unless we missed it somewhere, but stove/oven/air fryer available. You can definitely hear some regular life sounds (kids, pets) from the main house, so if you're looking for absolute silence you may want to look elsewhere, but that was perfect for us. We didn't get to admire the...

"This is a great location for visiting Great Sand Dune National Park and surrounding area. The check-in process was simple and flexible. Our host met us in person and gave us a tour of the home ensuring we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the back deck was perfect for viewing the sunrise and the night sky. We will consider staying here again."
