"Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. Owners did accommodate extra bedding when informed and the property is clean with good bedding and towels. "

"The location is great. We loved having the Old Fleece pub next door. The amenities are nice. The biggest issue with this accommodation is the lack of air flow. It can get warm and stuffy in warmer weather. There are no windows, and keeping the door open at night was not an option for us."

"This is my second time in one of Orion Holidays properties. I visited with my son and three very young grandchildren. I love the views from the houses overlooking a pond or lake where there is lots of wildlife to observe. "Fabulous break with a large family group over two’s properties. The outlook was lovely and the sunrises spectacular over the lake. The house was equiped with everything you could need and the amenities around the site were ample, including pub/cafe/ outdoor pool/ play area. Would definitely return. "On a positive the size of accommodation suited our multi-generational family, it was well equipped and comfortable. The facilities at Mill Estate were good. I was very impressed with communication from Orion, administratively everything was very smooth. Just a couple of niggles which I mention constructively for improvement; outside of the entrance door was overgrown with spikey, stingy foliage which look unkempt in relation to other properties in the vicinity, our 4yr old got prickled!...
