"Booked this hotel as it looked really good online. Also have been looking for a hotel out of the city centre and close to the Vondel Park, for regular trips to Amsterdam.
Broke three ribs prior to travel and so was unable to travel as was finding it difficult to walk.
I realise a booked a non-refundable ticket, and requested a change of date. I thought that the hotel would have had a bit of sympathy for my situation. But no, they refused to move the date.

"This is such a great option if you’re not wanting to spend money on a whole hotel room, but also aren’t a fan of the shared rooms of a hostel! Super clean, great shower facilities, and a decent location. The metro is a block away, which takes you to everything you’d want to do!"

"I frequently visit the Netherlands a beautiful country and I really enjoy the Schiphol area/airport train station as it’s a direct into Amsterdam central and other major cities. The Ibis hotel has a regular shuttle service to and from the airport which is fantastic the hotel is also within walking distance of the bus station to the city and there is McDonald’s restaurant in a lovely clean area. This was my second stay at the Ibis in the space of 10 months and I’m planning on my next visit in the...

"The only reason I'm giving this hotel 2 stars is because of the excellent staff. They were friendly, professional, and always willing to help.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. The breakfast was below average and not worth paying extra for I did a mistake and paid extra for 2 persons around €72 for 3 nights. I would strongly recommend not adding breakfast when booking. Basic amenities such as a shaving kit and toothpaste are not provided and must be purchased separately.

"I am extremely disappointed with the hotel, and it's not worth the money. I paid over 2,500 USD for 4 nights, and yet there wasn't even a disposable toothbrush in the room. Slippers and a bathrobe were available for an extra charge, and there was only one bottle of water in the room per day. The room was chilly, but the heating couldn’t be set higher than 23 degrees; the heated floors in the bathroom were cold. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the room was tiny, and there was an unpleasant...
