"Great location. We wanted seclusion and it did not disappoint. I see some reviews complaining about the road to the house but that is what I loved. The connecting road is a little steep and bumpy but to get away from the crowds or tourists' areas, I can put up with a little rough road. We rented a Jeep because we planned on going to hard-to-reach beaches, etc., and did not have any problems. I do have to mention that the description of the property is not correct on the Vrbo page. "What an absolutely delightful stay! This was our favorite place of all during our week on the island. We loved the decor and of course the gardens. The location was perfect for us. The only thing lacking was more time on our agenda for a longer stay. Mahalo Darin!"

"The property was great! Very relaxing yet still had all the essentials. It was super fun walking the property and enjoying all the fresh fruit! Star gazing in the hot tub was also enjoyable. Overall we enjoyed our stay so much & had so much fun exploring the big island. Only downside is the closest beach is about a 20 minute drive and there is no AC so it can get warm during the day, but wasn’t a problem at night."

"My spouse and I had a wonderful stay at Hale Laule’a with terrific hosts Jennifer and Chad. Their resort is nothing short of extraordinary and we were incredibly grateful to be able to stay and experience it. We stayed in the one bedroom Banyan suite which was spacious and comfortable, eagerly looking forward to the provided breakfast on the lanai. Spectacular ocean points were a short walk down the road. We can’t wait to visit again!"
