"From the moment we drove in Kawhia bay and stepped onto the balcony we were in heavon! The Bach had everything we needed, we were able to bbq every night, the kitchen was well equipped, large fridge to stock our food and drinks (note there are no local shops so you need to bring what you need - closet general store is 15 min drive). "This is our second time at this bach and we love it, beautiful local natural attractions, fabulous beach and beach walks, excellent fishing, comfortable accommodation, everything you need for a relaxed or active getaway, whatever you feel like. "We had a wonderful weekend, thanks so much. Excellent and prompt communication from the host. Emma is very friendly, kind and accommodating. It is truly an amazing bach! Clean, neat and tidy and very well equipped. It is very private with a huge well-kept yard and a breathtaking view of the bush. This bach is highly recommended, especially for families with toddlers. It was the perfect place for a family holiday and we hope we will have the privilege to visit it again in the future."

"Hubby and I loved our stay here. Farmers ourselves, staying here felt like home away from home. Stunning views, accommodation was perfect for a nice little weekend away. "My family stayed here for two nights. This location is just around the corner from the caves, but is secluded. An excellent place to stay to avoid the crowds. The hostess responds fairly quickly to questions. I highly recommend going on the farm tour if you can - the tour is usually included for people staying at one of the hostess's properties, and includes the opportunity to meet sheep, cows, goats, alpacas, emus, and ostriches.
