"Stayed for a Father’s Day weekend with a buddy to fly fish. The cabin was perfect, as was the location. The property makes it seem as if you’re in a remote location, but it’s a 3 minute drive into town. The land itself is beautiful, and really well kept. As for the cabin, it was perfect. Clean, comfortable and with everything you’d need. Its location to the river system was great, and we couldn’t have asked for more.."

"Spent the weekend here for my birthday with my best friend and god daughter. It was very relaxing. House was beautiful and just as pictured in the listing. The only issue we ran into was that it was very dark outside at night. They did have string lights up however we could not get them to turn on using the timer as instructed. We ended up taking a lightbulb out of one of the lamps and put it in the outside light fixture so that we could see when we used the hot tub. Definitely plan on staying...

"We had an amazing stay at this property! Everything was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It felt like a true home away from home. The location was perfect, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided.What really stood out was how smooth and stress-free the whole process was. "Beautiful spot! Great hot tub. Went on the paddle boat and zip line, talked to a very cute pig. Bring your own water for coffee (there’s a machine with plenty of keurig pods) and drinking. We cooked on the gas grill and used the fire pit each night. There’s a shower but no sink, which was a bit awkward for washing dishes and brushing teeth. Owner might want to install one in or near the shower. Otherwise totally chill, charming, and private. Never met owner, but he communicated well. "

"The home was very clean and super inviting. Easy communication with owner. I appreciated the little details from bedsheets, towels, to the mini coffee machine. The backyard view was paradise. Loved how it butts up to the lake. This home was a very relaxing oasis. "

"This creekside cabin was beautiful and serene. Exactly what we needed for a restful break! Everything was meticulously clean and well stocked. The property is beautiful with a babbling creek and stinocks around my daughter loved climbing on. We delighted in seeing an array of animals and birds. We loved it here and will come back!"

"Ww had a lovely, relaxing time at bear pause cabin! Amenities are nice! Very quiet area for relaxing and giving yourself much needed peace of mind from everyday stress. The weather wasn't the best when we were there, but we still got in some fishing time and walks on trails. Also went to different small towns for day trips and went to museums, parks and antique shops! C.J. was wonderful and helpful with our stay at bear pause cabin!"

"Disfrutamos mucho de La Paz y comodidad de la casa , sentimos como si estábamos en un hogar , tiene de todo para la cosina , disfrutamos de la chimenea , disfrutamos mucho del clima , muy acogedora , ay silencio eso nos encantó , queríamos relajarnos y disfrutamos de un asado al aire libre . El clima no nos favoreció pero la piscina y el lago están super cerca para ir me verano se disfrutaría más . La propiedad es súper segura . "

"Best stay ever! The cottage was super cozy and cute! Meticulously decorated with a country vibe and felt welcomed. Super clean and felt safe using kitchen supplies. A very sweet hand written card with farm fresh eggs and a cute succulent was a nice surprise. When going for a walk to the river, all of the friendly neighbors waved at us! That doesn’t happen in NYC. We enjoyed our visit and will be back for sure. "
