Come and relax in a NEW cottage retreat! Very secluded, no visible neighbors...yet minutes to downtown Homer. This cottage is designed for a couple's getaway, a small family or up to six people if a couple of them are willing to sleep the couches. The feel is modern-chic with a lot of rustic wood touches. Designed and built by a local Homer craftsman specializing in artistic designs, this cottage has a charm that is both appealing to the eye, yet comfortable for the soul. The views over the Cook Inlet lead to the Alaska Range in the distance, with views of world famous Mount Augustine lighting up the skyline. Moose, lynx, and porcupine frequent the neighborhood, and the absence of city lighting leaves the skies clear and bright at night.
The master bedroom is ideal for a couple to enjoy their own privacy. The second "bedroom" has been purposely designed as an open space, with flexibility in the layout of accessory sleeping quarters for a larger group. Two single beds are separated by a fireplace, and the super-comfortable couch can be converted to two seperate beds...giving space for up to six people.
The bathroom has a spectacular design...and pictures alone can define that space!
This cottage is really meant for folks that want complete, secluded privacy in the northwoods of Alaska...yet want to enjoy the amazing amenities of Homer only a few minutes away...incredibly artistic food, world class views of the ocean and glaciers and mountains, and outdoors activities that truly makes Homer "America's #1 Wilderness Town"!

Just what we needed

Cottage did not disappoint. It was perfect. Our family was rejuvenated. Clean and quiet home. Easy access to town. 10/10 would definitely come back again…sooner than later.

Home-base

What a cute wonderful home-base for our fishing trip to Homer. On a short 20 minute drive to the spit. The cabin was clean, cute, and quiet. Loved the surrounding nature and feeling away from it all.

Nice cozy place in the woods

Just outside of Homer, the cottage was reasonably priced, and perfect for the four of us. Very clean, and nice and quiet at night. Good communication with the owner, who was very responsive. We will definitely be back again !!!

Homer Pottery Tour!

We had a blast visiting the potters. This cottage was the perfect landing place. A bit out of town and secluded, perfectly quiet and cozy. We both decided we'd love to visit again. It's small but could comfortably fit six! Lovely little spot.

Cute place with a nice view

It’s a cute cabin with all of the basics that you need. A light on the twin side of the living room would be great. The main bed is basically a trampoline and also very creaky. The kitchen is nice though! We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed so we had to park in the middle of the road and hike through a foot of snow to get to the door. The host did make it right after I reached out, but we had very cold feet for a while, as we weren’t prepared to walk in that much snow. Overall a good place!

Luxury Cabin near Homer

This place was one of the nicest we've ever stayed at. Owner was very responsive. Lots of little touches to make our stay perfect, including fresh fruit on the table when we arrived!

Great location with lots of privacy

We had a fantastic time at the cottage, which had everything we needed for a couple nights stay for 3 of us. Was close to Homer but still lots of privacy. Enjoyed the coffee stand just down the road every morning. Weather turned out to be perfect and we hiked a couple different nearby trails, including Diamond Creek trail that went down to the beach. Didn't see any wildlife during our stay; maybe next time.

Weekend Getaway

We had a lovely stay at this sweet cottage in Homer, AK. Beautiful view, scenery, and nicely cleaned and maintained. Even though we did expect there to be two separate rooms with walls and a door (one was open concept to living room), we still made it work comfortably with 4 adults, a toddler and a dog. :)

We had a wonderful stay at Tom’s cabin! It was nice to be out a bit from the hustle and bustle of town. Tom was very responsive to any and all questions that we asked and even gave us some ideas on where to eat and what to do during a rainy day in Homer! We would definitely go back!

Nice quit cottage

We enjoyed the nice cottage. Kitchen got everything for cooking a good meal. Tom was so kind to welcome us with a bowl of fruits, coffees and teas, and filtered drinking water was a plus. Will definitely stay here when visiting Homer again.
