  • Thank you for choosing the Heart of Homer for your visit.
    This location is desirable, tucked in next to the library in the downtown area. Access to Homers walking trails is adjacent to the property. You will enjoy short walking distances to Safeway, several restaurants, shopping, and other tourist attractions. Bishop Beach is just a 15-minute walk, Alaska Islands & Ocean vistor center is a 10-minute walk, and the Homer Spit is a 5-minute drive.
    Construction on the home was completed in September of 2025. There is room for 6 visitors.
    The living area includes a full-size kitchen with pantry, kitchen island with seating for 2, dining table with seating for 4, living area with queen-size sleeper sofa, ½ bathroom, and laundry. The private back deck has a BBQ grill and seating for 2 to enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and bay.
    Each of the bedrooms on the ground floor has a queen size bed and a full private bathroom.
    The kitchen, bedrooms, baths, and laundry area are stocked with essentials, all you need to bring is food to enjoy cooking at home and any individual preferred items.
    WiFi and television are provided.

Our family had a great stay. The house was very clean, well appointed and has a lovely view. The location is fantastic- grocery store is within walking distance. Parking is easy. The kitchen was well outfitted for cooking. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again when we visit Homer in the future.

Homer is a special place, and this home made our visit even more memorable. The second-floor living space offers absolutely incredible views that are hard to beat. The home is spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Parking was convenient, and communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Homer. We'd happily stay here again!

The four of us were very happy about the location, cleanliness and amenities of the property. Great layout of the unit with the bedrooms on the first floor so we did not have to carry them upstairs. Awesome. We are not getting any younger. The views were totally incredible. We would stay here again when we travel to Homer. As a travel advisor I will recommend to other clients with high recommendations.
